PANJIM: The local Crime Branch Thursday interrogated Police Sub Inspector Sunil Gudlar, who allegedly figures in video tapes which show him selling drugs to foreign tourists. Police said that Gudlar was asked to explain the tapes.
A local news channel had aired the footage which showed Guddler selling drugs to two girls at an undisclosed location. The first video recording was aired on January 4.
The PSI is also seen stating on the tape that his higher ups are in the know about his activities and they too take bribes.
Goa Police has initiated inquiry by Crime Branch into the episode.
Coming out of crime branch today, Gudlar told reporters that the tapes were doctored.
"Whatever shown in tapes is just one part of the story. They are not showing the actual footage," he said adding that the truth will come out only if entire tape is viewed.
He was decorated with a certificate by Director General of Police B S Bassi last year after he arrested Israeli drug lord David Driham alias Dudu. Gudlar was also instrumental in arresting police inspector Ashish Shirodkar, the main accused in policemen-drug peddler nexus case – PTI
Good work Gudlar, carry on the tradition of the police of Goa with the blessings of your donkey boss Chandrakant Salgaokar. How much did you give out of the sales of the drugs to Chandrakant Salgaonkar. Trust me, Chandrakant Salgaonkar will never get you punished as he is an expert in sabotaging investigations.
ReplyDeleteCome on Sunil Gunda give the names of those higher up on your list (in the business) and probably your sins may be forgiven. Let the eggs scramble.
ReplyDeleteGudlar sounds like African beer Gulder. Is there any name or family name called Gudlar? Is this chap a Goan? He must be a good hafta collector for Chandrakant Salgaonkar. He is brave and very positive about escaping justice. He speaks with confidence and that shows that he have the blessing of his corrupt bosses.
ReplyDeleteIf anyone sees this Video interview of Gudlar, you will notice how he is licking his dry lips frequently.
ReplyDeleteIn criminology , lie detecting or truth detection tests,it is a sure sign of "GUILT".
He has too much to loose and hence this nervous behaviour.
All his ill-accrued assets have to be investigated as I believe he was also trying to extort Rs. 12 Lakh from a businessman.
I am also sure there are other crimes he has committed, that have not been reported out of "fear for life".
He is no COP...just a plain common criminal in KHAKI Uniform.
I hope this bastard along with Boussuet, Chandrakant Salgaonkar and others, get nailed. Not forgetting their headman Ravi & Roy Naik.
