ASSNORA: The new bus stand at Assnora is ready and set to go operational from January 11th. The new bus stand has been built at a cost of 13 Crore rupees. The inauguration has been set for 11th January 2011 at 5:00 pm
The new bus stand with all modern facilities will be inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Goa, Digamber Kamat and will be presided by Tourism Minister Nilkant Halarnkar, the Transport Minister Sudin Dhavlikar, Kadamba Transport Corporation Chairman Deepak Dhavlikar and Industrial Development Corporation Vice Chairman Francis Silveira.
Expressing his happiness over the completion of the project during his tenure as the Tivim MLA, he said that he has fulfilled the assurance given to the people of Assnora during the election campaign during the last elections.
“This bus stand will have shopping complex, hall, RTO office, rest room, parking facilities for state and inter-state buses,” stated Halarnkar.
Hope it won't become another cowshed after the Cuncolim Bus Station where Goa Maha chor chorchill brother Joaquim the Goonda is buying supporters with his illgotton wealth to fight next elections.It looks like Cuncolikar has no sauce in their balls to elect son-of-soil instead of electing that Goon from Varca.
