200 PAGES CHARGESHEET FILED IN ALEBERT LUIS MURDER CASE

MAPUSA: Mapusa police have filed a charge sheet in the Albert Luis murder case that took place in Mapusa in the first week of August. In all 50 witnesses are to be examined.  The charge sheet is of 200 pages and has been filed in the JMFC court at Mapusa. Mapusa PI, Rajeshkumar under the supervision of DySp, Mr Sammy Tavares conducted the investigations in the case.
Two accused persons are presently in police custody. Mr Rajeshkumar disclosed their names as Aftab Siddiqui, who was arrested and brought from Hyderabad and Mohammed Azad alias Sameer, who was arrested and brought from Delhi.
Mr Rajeshkumar himself had traveled to these places to nab the accused. Two other persons wanted in the case are presently absconding and an absconding charge sheet is filed against them.
It may be recalled that Albert Luis was found shot dead in his room, at Duler Mapusa in August. Mr Rajeshkumar informed that this was a case in which four persons were involved and one of the accused had fired the gunshot in the head of Albert Luis through a pillow. Though the Mapusa police after thorough investigations detected the case and successfully solved it, two accused are still at large. Mr Rajeshkumar expressed the hope that the two would also be nabbed sooner or later. (NT)
