  2. @ Concerned Goan
We should be proud of all those who are trying to promote our language Konkani. Konkani is spoken all over the Konkan coast and the work of Mandd Sobhann is laudable. Eric and his wife have done a wonderful job in promoting Konkani and its literary culture.
We have only three Goan in the list because Goa is full of ghanttis now who are promoting Marathi.
We need to kick out the patrons of the ghanttis in Goa, namely the illiterate-goonda politicians who are trying to divide the Goans on the basis of language. All Goans should be proud of our language Konkani and try to promote it in whatever way we can.

  3. Bebdo... You are cent percent right. Out of 25, only three are Goans. How can there be more than three when Goa is full of ghanttis, run by the ghanttis and Niz Goenkars are taken for a ride by the ghanttis. Nothing but the ghanttis. I wont be surprised if after some time, these chors come out with the idea of changing the name of Goa to something else. Then the real uprising will start. Our beloved Goa will always remain our Goa, and time is not far away when Niz Goenkars will get rid of these corrupt politicians including our so-called Goan politicians who allowing the inflow ghanttis in Goa for their own gain.

  4. dlp... there is a move to rename Goa as either Govapuri or Gomant. The day is not far when the renaming of Goa will be taken up. Mark my words and then there will be no identity for us. We will be people from Govapuri or Gomant and the ghanttis will rule us.

  5. Yes Bebdo... Time is running out for us unless we strike like the black mambas. Or else Goa will become Goapuri and Goans will become Bajipuri and these ghanttis will devour us like a pack of hungry wolves.
