St Cruz constituency, though just on the outskirts of Goa's capital city Panaji, has remained one of the most neglected constituencies of the State. Even villages in Canacona and Pernem have progressed. A drive through Chimbel, Merces and St Cruz and the sight and scent of garbage everywhere is inescapable.
The infrastructure is in the doldrums, yet new tall buildings are sprouting all over. The roads cannot cope with the increasing traffic. It is a relief that Ribandar which is now part of the St Cruz constituency will be a part of Panjim constituency from the forthcoming Assembly election.
St Cruz MLA Victoria Fernandes has to own up the responsibility for the mess in the constituency. Except for the occasional supervising of hot mixing of roads and plastering of gutters, which anyway is not the job of an MLA she has done little. The constituency did not even benefit when she was a Minister and even the Deputy Speaker in the past.
Her fasting and fainting after the last elections carried little weight with Sonia Gandhi who was not moved to make her a Minister, despite her being the lone lady MLA. Let us hope the people of St Cruz now find an educated, mature and competent person as their next MLA. On her part Victoria Fernandes should look beyond her family and support someone more competent and dedicated.

She is also a thug.And like all thugs,when they do not get what they want,they resort to violence.
Being a woman (if she is a woman), then she usesthe female option of crying or fasting.
She is surrounded by thugs, goondsa and sychophants.
Her son Rudolf has been in trouble several times.
He has made more money by doing nothing.So this money must be made through corruption & extortion.
He is well connected with the Goa Police "Corrupts".
Sta Cruz was known for notriety since the Mangalorean mama Victoria made it her den in politics and bred sons like Goonda rudolph. Finally, they will die a devil's death with people remembering them for evil deeds. same to Taleigao. Sorry for the Monserrates for adopting such a terrorist with their name who is a criminal. Now the offsprings too are rapists and drug addicts. What a pity!

Fondly called "Mummy",which also means mother in other words has done nothing motherly for our constituency till date. Promises should be backed by actions and that has not happened.St. Cruz people are just her voters, benifits are reaped by all the outsiders who have made Chimbel their home and are well backed by our MLA. Its finally time for a change. enough is enough. hope people will give others a chance now and finally overthrow her regime which has bore no fruit.

ReplyDeleteI have now discovered Innaguration of hot mixing roads , like the Alemao family is another of her famous pastimes and hobby
Hot Mixing is now an annual event in Goa and takes pride of place in the MLA`s calendar of events.
Forget Republic Day or Goa Liberation day or even Feast of St Francis Xavier, Hot-mixing day is the new National event.It is also well attended by poor Ghantis & migrants.
If you are lucky on Hot -Mixing day, you may even get a Sausage Pau (Chorizo Pau) & a cold tutti -frutti Sherbet or even a Biryani, depending on the finances.Limbu soda is now out of fashion by the way.
The ceremony of Hot-mixing is also accompanied by a rather long sermon by the MLA`s praising their own arses and the arses of their children.
New kid on the block for such events is Valanka Alemao, the one that hopes to be the future Queen of Benaulim.... that is, if Viola Pacheco hasn`t got there first.
Valanka has given herself a new title...Social Worker.
Any ordinary & every Goan Citizen can now add the title of SOCIAL WORKER. All you have to do, to qualify for this title, is to help your neighbours.
The only differenc between the ordinary Citizen`s Social Working & Valanka`s, is the Donation Box that takes pride of place in her office along with, the money & commission counting machine for her daddy Churchill.
The collection in these money boxes, help Valanka, towards the next trivial & pointless Inauguration.
Give it a few years more and there will also be a Guard of Honour and a Military Band in attendance for the Hot Mixing.
The Hot-mixing trend , has also been practised and is in catching-on ,on A/c toilets and Beautification of Cemetrys.
what next, I wonder?
Victoria Fernandes is the Matriach of Criminals and Babush Monseratte the Patriarch .
The chldren of these 2 well known Goan Monsters, have been in trouble with the Law and have criminal tendencies.
One is a Rapist par excellence & the other a Gangster & extortionist.
Goa Police are redundant and inefficient in controllig their excesses.
As as soon as these 2 Monsters, make a phone call and then flash bundles or trunks / suitcases of Rupee notes, the Goa Police go into overdrive & then hibernation..... or...... go greedily elsewhere for more bundles of notes.
What the people can accept from a ghanttin. She is in the political business for her own gain. Her goonda son is involved in money extortion and illegal mining with her blessing. The Goan people are stupid in electing such useless candidates.Most of our politicans are worst than PIGS as far as hygiene is concerned.The people of St Cruz and rest of Goa should use their God given sense and ditch all the present MLAs in the coming election befor Goa turning into a SLUM.

ReplyDeleteBut I don't think Victoria will look at anyone else beyond her family , In fact its a foregone conclusion that Rudolph her son will be the congress candidate for the next election and supported by Babush he will win hands down. It will be a shame if this leader of the gang called "Protectors" is elected to the assembly.Without any known source of income he had reported his wealth at around 3 crores to the election commission at the last election when he contested as a dummy candidate in Cumbarjua. If 3 crore is official , we can all imagine what the unofficial figure will be. But will anyone question his source of wealth ? I dont think so.
The people of Santa Cruz are blind and they deserve to remain neglected. Despite no progress they have repeatedly voted for Victoria. The only thing she is good at is hugging people and that makes people fall for her charms. Even after getting elected a panchayat panel of her choice there has been no development , in fact after the last sarpanch was voted out things have become worse - specially regarding the garbage. As long as chimbel is in Santa Cruz and the poor people form the slums there can be bought by money ,nobody can stop Victoria\Rudolph from winning.I hope people of Goa - whether it is Santa Cruz or Navelim or Pale or Bicholim , wherever , that they look beyond family ties,relationships and money and vote for in decent people.I know it is only a pipe dream but lets hope for the best.
Santa Cruz has become a breeding place for criminals since the emergence of Victoria. Why do they call her Mummy when she is still alive and breeding criminals? Mummy's are supposed to be in Egypt in white wrappers. I think they call her mummy because she always wear a white Sari. Any other reason???

If Rudolph gets the congress ticket along with support of Babush, Imagine how many more Goondas and Goondagiri will arise. So I wonder who will compete with Rudolph for next election....Will it be Former Sarpanch "William Gonsalves", Former MLA "Victor Gonsalves", Anil Hoble,????
