BUS CONDUCTORS IN A FIST BRAWL AT USGAO

PONDA: A fight that broke out between two bus conductors on Thursday at Barazan Usgao resulted in injuries and the hospitalization of one of them. The incident took place due to departure timings and competition to get passengers.
Elaborating, Ponda police said the clash took place between Yuvraj Naik, a resident of Usgao and a conductor of bus no GA 01 W 4516, and Bablo alias Anand Gad, a resident of Menkurem, Bicholim, a conductor of bus No GA 01 U 1537, at Barazan Usgao on Thursday.
Yuvraj Naik allegedly assaulted Gad with fist and blows. In the incident, Gad sustained some minor injuries. He was immediately rushed to Ponda ID hospital and was discharged after administering treatment . However, in the afternoon, Gad visited the Goa Medical College (GMC) and hospital at Bambolim, Ponda police said.
Police have added that both the persons have lodged complaints with them against each other and the police have registered the cases as 'non cognizable' under Section 323 (minor injuries) of Indian Penal Code (IPC).
