This is with reference to the letter to the Editor “Churchill’s generosity” in today’s edition of the Herald. In this letter the writer boasts about the minister’s achievement in the last four years, such as
1. Construction of Panchayat Ghar and some beautiful ornamental work opposite the Varca Church under RDA, the Varca-Telaulim Bridge, Panchayat Hall at Carmona, and the Panchayat Ghar under construction at Carmona.
2. Proposed mini Ravindra Bhavan at Carmona for which land acquisition process is going on.
3. Many internal roads that have been tarred in Navelim constituency.
4. The ornamental street lights, which were pending for so many years that are given a new lease of life.
5. His pockets being always open for the down trodden.
Can the writer provide his views on Churchill
1. Supporting the plan for airport at Mopa.
2. Joining hands with the Raheja’s for their project at Carmona.
3. Supporting illegal mining that is effecting the poorest of people of the society.
If he does so, I promise that I too will support him as the official campaigner for Churchill in the coming elections.
