PANJIM: Nitin Kuncolienkar, the ex-chairman of Goa Chamber of Commerce & Industries has reiterated that the inflow of migrants coming to Goa should be frozen.
Mr. Kuncolienkar expressed his views at the Knowledge session on investment opportunities for Goa at ITM-Goa today. He said that there is locals have fear in their minds about the migrants, as the migrant population has touched 35 percent and any more will change the demography of the Goa.
He also pointed out that there have been attempts to buy land in restricted CRZ areas by the people from outside the State despite of knowledge on CRZ regulations Central legislation. “Is Goa independent of India,” he quipped while dispelling misinformation that Goans are just opposed to outsiders buying land here.
Nitin Kuncolienkar is not the first GOAN to ask for the freeze migrant into Goa. Goans have been crying out loud, but ministers have never deaf to the cries of Goan Citizens. Turning a blind eye to the destruction of Goa and encouraging crimes and drugs has been the priority of our government
ReplyDeleteOur corrupt ministers know that Niz Goenkars will never vote for them, so they are encouraging flow of migrants into Goa so that they can survive on their votes.
ReplyDeleteIt is never too late. We should stop non-Goans coming to Goa and starting businesses there.
