MARGAO: Three students of a Bangalore-based engineering college, were arrested on Friday morning by the Margao police, for committing the theft of a bag containing electronic goods. Margao police said that all three students are originally from Saudi Arabia, but were studying in a college at Bangalore. Offence under section 279 of IPC has been registered.
Police said that all three were produced before the Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) Margao and 14 days judicial custody remand was taken to conduct further investigations.
Giving more details of the case, the police said that the three, while traveling by bus to Margao from Bangalore, robbed a bag belonging to another passenger, which contained a laptop and other electronic items worth around Rs 45,000.
Police said that complaint was lodged by the owner of the bag, Prashant, in the morning and the police team contacted the bus transport office and collected the mobile numbers of the three alleged accused located them in the heart of the city. Police picked them up and brought them to the police station, where they were identified. Police said that stolen bag was recovered from them. Police are conducting further investigations.
These Saudi students should be given the Saudi Justice, chop their hands off. But these students parents will buy the beguiled justice system of Goa.
ReplyDeleteGet them whipped in public on coming Friday at Monte Dongor, the next Friday near Vasco Masjid. Get them whipped every Friday until all Masjids are covered and deport them.
