MADKAIKAR EXPRESSES SATISFACTION OVER GOVT. DECISION TO PUT HOLD ON LAND ACQUISITION PROCESS

OLD GOA: Cumbharjua MLA Pandurang Madkaikar on Saturday expressed satisfaction over the State government’s decision to keep on hold the land acquisition process to widen the NH4A along the Old Goa-Corlim route.
It may be noted that the House Committee meeting on Friday had given its nod to finalise the alignment of 35-km stretch between Panjim and Usgao, but had kept on hold the decision on the alignment for the stretch between Old Goa-Corlim and Bhoma.
Though the House Committee had unanimously decided to impose Section 3(D) of land acquisition, it had suggested a bypass from Old Goa to Bhoma, which could save many structures.
Madkaikar who is also the House Committee member on the NH4A and NH17 said he was part of the House Committee meeting, chaired by Chief Minister Digambar Kamat, on Friday.  “At that meeting, I had pointed out the affected houses along the NH4A route between Old Goa and Corlim, which falls in my constituency,” said Madkaikar.
“I had requested the committee to keep the land acquisition process on hold, as we do not want even a single house or anyone to be affected with the widened NH4A,” he added.  Commenting on the issue of a road divider, Madkaikar told the House Committee that a divider in the middle of the road would end up dividing a village.
“In Corlim, if a divider is put up it would not only divide the village but will also divide one ward of a village.” “Due to this a lot of religious programmes would be affected and hence, I have suggested not having road dividers in these areas,” the MLA said. (HD)

  1. Gonvdo Madkaikar is a thief, who has looted and plundered Goa. He must be very sad that the Govt. put on hold the SEZ acquisition of land. Or it could be the otherway round. He must be happy now that he will have another piece of land to loot and sell to the outsiders. In the Goan Politics we have all type of buffoons like thieves, smugglers, drug peddlars, rapists, terrorists etc. When will the Almighty God get rid of these fellows? I think the delay in getting rid of them is DEVIL in hell must be complaining to God not to send them down so soon as they may destroy his disciplined hell and start selling off parts of hell to the highest bidder, thereby depriving Lucifer and his gang of devils of their own homeland.

  2. This Gonvdo Madkaikar is one of the biggest looters of Goa. He has looted the communidade and church properties in Old Goa and has illegally constructed his bunglaw within hundred meters of the Bom Jesus Basilica. Old Goa is a world heritage site and this Gonvdo Madkaikar has flouted all laws to build his house and colonies for the ghanttis in Old Goa.
Not only that he has forcibly taken land from Goan by threatening them for peanuts.
When he was the transport minister, he sold RTO jobs for more than 20 lakhs to people from Marcel and Cumbarjua (this RTO from Cumbarjua also had buses before).
He is also a womaniser and is a good friend of the other looters and rapits of Goa such as the Monster Rat and Mickkey Pacheco.
He has no loyalty to anyone. He was with the MGP, then took crores of rupees to join BJP,and later took crores of rupees to dump BJP and join the Congress.
It is a shame for the people of Cumbarjua constituency, especially the people of Santo Estevam, Divar, Old Goa, Corlim and Carambolim for taking money and voting for this Gonvdo, illiterate and goonda politician.
Of late he is saying that he is a commerce graduate. He must have bought a fake certificate just like the Monster Rat.
He studied in Bal Bharati school in Ribander and has not even completed his SSC.
I appeal to all the educated people of Cumbarjua constituency not to eat the bread crumbs of this Gonvdo Madkaikar who is selling Old Goa, Corlim and Vanxim to non-Goan ghanttis.
Vote him out in the next election and elect a Niz Goenkar candidate.
Viva Goa, Viva Niz Goenkar, Goa for Goans
