New Delhi: Senior NCP leader Surendra Shirsat was on Tuesday appointed President of the party's Goa unit. Shirsat, at present Vice President of the NCP's Goa unit, succeeds Jose Philip D'souza, who had resigned from the post recently.
NCP supremo Sharad Pawar accepted the resignation of D'souza and relieved him from the post with immediate effect, party secretary S R Kohli said in a statement. Shirsat was appointed following consultations with NCP General Secretary Praful Patel, who is incharge of party affairs in Goa and Prakash Binsale, the party observer for the state. - PTI

Wait and see, the new party called the National Cocks Party will flutter it's wings and join with UGDP which can also be called as a party of "Useless Goans Diabetic Party". It is run by a family so is a one family business. Entry to the party is restricted, only for TICKET BUYERS. If you win, they don't care, loose they don't care, defect, they don't care because they know only Goans detected with Diabetically political symptoms buy tickets to contest. All defectors, arch rivals can sit unitedly on UGDP table until the elections are over. Ana and Redo cooly laughs out to secret bank accounts. Fools live in fools paradise.
