FROG CATCHERS LAND IN TROUBLE AT GUDDI PARODA

QUEPEM: Six persons were detained at Guddi Paroda on Monday night in connection with poaching of frogs in the nearby fields. Sources said two were in the process of catching frogs while 4 were sitting in a car nearby. Forest department staff arrived on the scene and after a search found three frogs in the car.
The sources could not give more details as investigation was in progress. The panchanama was being conducted when reports last came in.  It may be recalled that five persons were arrested on Friday night at Paroda in two separate incidents.
