PONDA: The Ponda MLA and Home Minister, Mr Ravi Naik, on Saturday, said that Goa has progressed a lot in every field after attainment of Liberation. But public also say that MLA’s like Ravi Naik have progressed a lot in money making which became easier to them after the liberation.
Niz Goenkar asked a few Goans their opinion on the statement of the home minister to which one Goan on condition of anonymity said that nothing has progressed in Goa after liberation except the money making by Ravi Naik and the other ministers, which has given rise to briber in every government institution.
“In education too, the state is on the forefront with educational institutions, higher secondary schools and colleges almost everywhere. This is a very good sign,” Mr Naik added. Education, he said plays an important part in personality development of the individual. “Education is must, as it helps shape the human being and also the progress of the state,” he said and urged the children to concentration on their studies.
Mr Naik was speaking at the Goa Revolution Day function, held at Kranti Maidan in Ponda, after offering floral tributes at the Martyrs’ Memorial. He said everybody, irrespective of caste, creed or colour, should assist in development which would lead to the growth of Goa and the country.
On the occasion, patriotic songs were sung by students of various schools. Others who attended the function and paid floral tributes at the Martyrs Memorial included the Deputy Collector, Mr Jayant Tari, Chairperson of PMC, Mr Kishor Naik, councillors, Mr Pradip Naik, Ms Diksha Naik, Mr Damu Chandrakant Naik, Mr Prakash M Parab. Assistant Divisional Officer, Commanding Officer of 6TTR, Colonel Subramanium and others were present.
Earlier, the police contingent presented ‘Shok Shastra’ (Reverse Arms) and ‘Salami Shastra’ (Present Arms) as mark of respect to the martyrs.
From what has been observed in the 50 years of the so called liberation of Goa, Goa has lost all its charm. Ministers and MLA’s are busy collecting bribes and this is what is called by Ravi Naik as a progress Goa has made. After the liberation Goa has also progressed in having uneducated or non matriculate MLAs and ministers in Goa. This according to Ravi Naik is a progress Goa has made after the liberation as he himself is one among the non matriculate ministers or MLAs of Goa.
People like Ravi Naik have no doubt to say Goa has progressed in last 50 years, as these scoundrels have been looting treasury for the last 50 years and these people and their families have progressed in all quarters. Real Goans are not yet freed from current slavery only those who can loot and are looting will talk highly about the progress. The real progress will take place when Goa actually liberates from bloody fu...in Indian corrupt rule.
ReplyDeleteAs soon as Goans own half of Ponda, several houses, vote banks, bonded labourers,be part of heriditary drug cartels, and have a Swiss Bank Account or accounts, with a few in Dubai thrown in for good measure, Gold hidden in and around Ponda, several benami accounts and properties, commandless Police, only then can we say we have progressed.......progressed into Ravi Naiks world.
ReplyDeleteMatka bookie Ravi Naik has progressed after 50 years of Liberation to become Home minister and cover his scoundrel son Roy Naik in the Scarlett Case the Matka bookie has progressed to be the kingpin in the drug police nexus case. This scoundrel has exploited the Congress platform to make money !!! Do these politicians that accepting bribes, exploiting the drug mafia, iindulging in flesh trade, illegal mining, real estate rackets, capitalizing on healthcare and landscams in GIDC and all sorts of illegalities is progress they are sadly mistaken the poor and underpriviledged the tribals are crying out against these rogues who think that Goa has progressed Goa is being destroyed by these rogue opportunists and scamsters !!!!! Like minded Goan need to unite and stand up to these rogues and dislodge them this a long struggle which needs to begin now and victory will come at a price but will come !!! All these FORNICATORS need to be thrown out and honest Goans need to protect the interests and guide the future of honest peaceloving Goans !!!!
ReplyDeleteRavi Naik you matka bookie check from your home department records how many European youth and tourists have lost their lives on the coastal belt of Goa due to conspumption of drugs like excatasy amd LSD in the last five years !!! Is this progress !!! Do not go far ask your son Roy Naik about the drug nexus !!! Then talk about progress in Goa !!! Scoundrels have exploited the Congress platforms on this stupid winnability clause when the High command decides to give tickets !!! These guys need to be routed but its easy said than done as the Goan electrorate needs to be educated an awareness needs to be created and the election commission should shoulder their responsibilities and duty the EC are found lacking !!!! All Goans please note that all this talk about progress in Goa by these Government stooges is nothing but BULLSHIT !!!!!
ReplyDeleteYes lance you are right, majority of Goans progressed through their self sacrifice and struggle either working off-shore without any Govt. help nor assistant. If Goa Govt. was really working for the progress of Goans then I myself would have been in Goa rather then elsewhere where I am today. I myself was the victim of bribery when I really needed job during my startup. I had to pay nearly 1 lack or loose the chance and that is what happened to me and many of poor Goans who couldn't afford the bribes. Because this is how stupid filthy Indian law operates. And these ruling rogues are talking about progress.
ReplyDeleteGoa has progressed after looting by these looters for their own gains. Not for the cause of Niz Goenkar. Niz Goenkar is still suffering under the Ghantti Indian Law. Ravi Naik is Number One Chor after Bandodkar.
ReplyDeleteGoa under brute Indian rule didn't make any progress; but idots/uneducated people like Ravi Naik progressed in opening vaults at Swiss Banks. These hypocrates make loot Goans but they'll never enjoy the booty.
ReplyDeleteGoa certainly has progressed a lot after liberation in the field of crime and corruption. Garbage. slums and Ghantis shitting in the open has certainly increased. That certainly is the progress made by our crime ridden politicians which includes dealing in drugs.
ReplyDeleteIf Goa has been liberated then why are the liberators still in Goa? Goa was Invaded and is still occupied by the Invaders and have imposed their life of corruption upon Goan's. It has only benefited the politicians and Police.
ReplyDeleteI wish Bastard Ravi reads all this
ReplyDeleteThe B*****t******rd Ravi is surely reading this and must be laughing along with our Chorchill and his Big Lips> What can we do???
ReplyDeleteBwahahaha, this is the best joke I've heard in a while!
ReplyDeleteGoa HASN'T progressed after the "liberation", in fact, Goa has regressed back to how it was before the Portuguese arrived - what with Indian "laws" and idiotic fools taking up charge left, right and centre. And what statistics/evidence does he have to base this "progression" on? How dare he generalise this claim?
I doubt, if he were to ask, native and actual Goans about this so-called progression, the majority of them won't even agree with the bullsh*t that comes out of his mouth!
It's about time we wake up and overthrow these good-for-nothing, ignorant, thieving little scoundrels.
BTW, I can't wait for the new NG site! :)
Not to worry about ghantti shit, Their boss digu cow is busy planning & inaugurating A/C toilets for them.
ReplyDeleteThe New NG Site is going to be up sooner than later. Let us just keep on fighting Faye! Things work, if one is determined. And I am one of them.
ReplyDeleteGoa's greenery has been replaced with concrete jungles after the co called liberation to house non-Goans. Politicians and their henchmen have certainly progressed by stealing from the poor Goans.
ReplyDeleteHI Anand: I fully agree with you.
ReplyDeleteThe land of a lot of subsistence Farmers and artisians has been taken over, mostly by Politicians ,to amass huge wealth for themselves and their families. It is estimated the wealth they have amassed will last 10 generations.
They do this in the name progress.I agree. They do this for their own or personal progress.
The father-son has a monopoly on the drug buisness. the police do their bit at supplementing their income by recycling seized drugs and other haftas, The rest of the politicians have both their hand in illegal mining, prostitution, land scams and commissions, so much that the dukor of varca has fixed the piglet as his commission agent. The garbage problem has become worse every day, goa has become totally dirty. And then there are the fake freedom farters who bark every so often at the wrong issues while conveniently ignoring the genuine ones. Yes you moron Ravi naik, this indeed is rapid progress since the Portuguese were forced out.
