UDAY BHEMBRE’S GRAND DAUGHTER IS STUDYING IN ENGLISH MEDIUM PRIMARY SCHOOL AT MARGAO

(This Article appeared in the local Daily Herald and has been received through e-mail)
MARGAO: Bharatiya Bhasha Suraksha Manch leader and eminent Konkani writer, Advocate Uday Bhembre on Saturday admitted that his grand daughter is studying in an English medium primary school in Margao.
Another Margao-based BBSM leader Kiran Naik also admitted that he had removed his child from Konkani Bhasha Mandal’s Konkani primary school and admitted her in Bhatikar English Model school.
When newsmen sought his reaction on allegations made by Advocate Radharao Gracias, Bhembre said “It is true that my grand daughter is studying in an English primary school”. And he hastened to add that that the future of his granddaughter is not decided by him.
He said it was not right for him to take a decision for his grand daughter since he is not her parent. “If we believe in a democracy, the father and son differs on many issues though they come from one family. My father was a Marathiwadi, while I am a staunch Konkaniwadi”, he said, adding that the opinion of his son and daughter-in-law on the issue is different. “I am not the parent of the child. Though we stay in the same house and stay in a nuclear family, they take their own decisions. I don’t decide the future of my granddaughter. It is not right for me to decide her future because of two generations difference”, Bhembre added.
He, however, said the issue over MoI is not centered on personalities, but is basically a question of policy to be decided taking into account the future of the children. “Some people are trying to mislead the people. They even said my son Apurva studied in an English primary school , which is not true. Apurva did his primary education in KBM’s Konkani medium”, Bhembre said.
Incidentally, Kiran Naik said it is true that he had removed his child from KBM’s Konkani medium primary school and admitted in Bhatikar English school on health grounds. “My first child had studied in Konkani medium and later pursued her education in Bhatikar’s. Since my second child had some sickness, she too was admitted in Bhatikar’s since my first child was studying there. But, now I have removed my child from Bhatikar and admitted her in Popular school, Margao”, Naik added.

Uday Bhembre comes from an extended family system.
To pretend he has no choice or advice,  in the decisions made about his grand-daughter isa blatant lie.
Bhembre ,like Karmali ,both faiures in their lives, get by and try & retain their miniscule reputations by lies and deceit.
It is only the old indoctrinated dogs that respect them...certainly not the New age & well informed Goans.
    Boith these idiots are hypocrites.

This Bhembro is a double standard person, he should first put his house in order. Learning English has not ruined Goa, crime and corruption has. Have they the guts to fight corrupt politicians?

If it's not his right to decide his granddaughter's future then it must be the parents right. Or Not? The same applies to every parent in Goa, to want English Medium for their children. Goa belongs to Goans and not corrupt politicians that cannot stand up for Goans.
