A letter by Mr. Saturnino Rodrigues from Goa to NIZ GOENKAR
Thank you NIZ GOENKAR so much for supporting this cause of the Goans and the real Niz Goenkars. This cause is a good cause, I support it 100% it's all about our Goa, Goans and truth. Thank you all who are supporting Niz Goenkars and let us not allow this forum to die like OHeraldO. Menino, thank you for starting it, maintaining it.
Let's all do it together for its success. I could see the members of the NIZ GOENKARS turning out to be a big family on a daily basis. And every member has a theme, to fight against our political system and to bring a change, if not complete in the political system of Goa.
Menino showed his guts and courage to bring this forum out. And I am sure, it cost him time and money but it is free for us for the sake of Goa. Let us not abuse this facility and avoid vulgarity. We may not at all agree with each other but lets put it in a democratic way. And yes, I completely get that there is a world of literature out there with unsympathetic characters. In fact, that could be considered a literary tradition. So there should be a balance—that fine line between tough characters and a story that remains gripping despite that.
Thank you Menino. I hope many will support my thought and support Menino. Niz Goenkar family really loves you. DLP and Diogo Fichardo including Sandesh said earlier that Herald is just not the end of the World, it’s true after seeing the response on this forum. I pray that this little baby of Menino matures soon into a big boy and into a big SUCCESS. Viva GOENKARA, Viva NIZ GOENKAR.
I would personally like to thank Mr. Saturnino Rodrigues for his whole hearted support for NIZ GOENKAR. I value a lot True Goans like you and there are many more to add like, Praxy, DLP, Trevor, Dalia, Diogo Fichardo, Rahul, Suraj, Francis Fernandes from Switzerland, N Fernandes, Bebdo, Dr. Ferrao, Joao and please forgive me if I have missed out any names. It is with the support and love of you people I manage this site. - My Love to all of you, Menino de Valpoi
ReplyDelete....and the "Anonymous" the, nameless that go forgotton, ha ha ha.
ReplyDeleteAnd should I say Shyam Sawant from Ponda, a valuable contributor? Yes, he is with bold comments. A brave commentator.
ReplyDeleteMenino... You can rest assured that we are all with you. Herald thought by closing the comments page, it could get rid of us, little knowing that "Niz Goenkar" would come up and let us continue with our comments where Herald had stopped them. Viva Niz Goenkar and Viva Menino de Valpoi. May God Bless you and give you strength to continue the tremendous task you have undertaken on behalf of all the Niz Goenkars.
ReplyDeleteThank you Menino, for what you do. You exemplify the true Goan. Thank you for giving us a voice. I have learnt so much from the comments other folks have submitted. I know like you, we all love and miss OUR GOA so much. I just happened to goggle Goa to look for pictures of Goa whenever I feel homesick…...and to my surprise found this story below, please share with our readers......it has not made it to the other newspapers....It is amazing cause so many people on the Herald forum alluded to this happening and….. LOL….. It came true!!....Kudos to N Fernandes and a few others who were right on the money!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteNew Delhi: Former Goa minister Mickey Pacheco, accused in the murder of his lady friend Nadia Torrado, is in for more trouble. Now, the Bureau of Diplomatic Security - a unit of the US state Department, has told India that the former minister may be involved in a global immigration and money laundering racket.
Government sources said the the Bureau of Diplomatic Security has backed the allegations with documents and details of banking transactions. The CBI is now assessing documents handed over by the United States.
The evidence is being described as "substantive and watertight". Pacheco was arrested on July 9 in connection with the murder of Nadia Torrado, but is now out on bail.
Trevor.... Yes, Pacheco, or 'mickey mouse' as he is commonly known here, thought that with his political corrupt lawyers would escape his deeds. Nadia must be digging up his grave for what he has done to her. Only time will tell. Mr. Mickey Mouse, you will have to find a better lawyers than Viegas. Can I help you??? I have a lawyer friend who is honest and won't charge you anything to fight for justice.
ReplyDeleteAnd Mr. Anonymous... you are just a small dot on this forum. Have you noticed how many of us are here on this forum since the beginning, fighting for the cause started by Niz Goenkaer??? You wanted recognition for your silly comments? There are so many others who deserve a mention like Sandesh, and.. and.. and.. Menino is doing a superb job and let us all, if you are with us which I doubt very much, support him.
ReplyDeleteThank you Menino for the "Nizgoenakar" we will strive to make it sucess
ReplyDeleteNiz Goenkar, you are a bullshit........ but not for us. You may be so for people like Anonymous, Lawry and others who don't like to be identified. Here we are, Niz Goenkans and Goenkars. We stand by Menino and others who write and publish truth on this forum. God Save Niz Goenkars, God Save Menino, God bless this forum.
ReplyDeleteNiz Goenkar. Thank you very much for giving us Goans a forum to discuss real issues dealing with our beloved Goa. I have been following the comments and can understand the concerns and frustrations of the comments. Yes I love Goa and I say a big THANKS to you and the others . It is bad enough for Herald to succumb to political pressure and I dont feel visiting that website, cause I miss the comments section. You guys ROCK!!!
ReplyDeleteWe the nameless the anonymous are not here for fame and "Digitally Light Projecting" to blind the reader an enlighten your name. Let me make it very clear that our genuine Goenkar bretheren (regardless of their cast or creed) are those that have truely embraced the Goan sense in them and are fighting the cause of others. I see, some on this forum who are the mouth pieces from the backyards of the now defamed Goan politicians in sheep's clothing. Kindly . Kindly have your say change your ways or beat-up.
ReplyDeleteHey! Hey!! Julie??? We love you truly!!! What do you mean by saying Niz Goenkar is a bullshit and then praising him??? Are you off your rockers or what???
ReplyDelete@DLP, Julie did not mean bad when she wrote that comment. What she meant is, it may be for the few loose nuts but not for us. Mr.Menino I thank you from the bottom of my heart for this forum. It has thought me a lot. I also thank each and everyone who post their comments here.
ReplyDeleteJoao, I would go with anonymous' comment about mouth piece of the politicians. I think Julie has played a trick. I do not even think that name is really her/his. But let us wait time will tell. She/He knew that otherwise her comment against niz Goenkar will not be posted. The only way to get at us is by playing it safe like that. She/He gave the badword and expressed her inner feeling towards niz goenkar. The remaining part of the comment is just out and out to get her main comment of the three words on the site. It is also very clear that the praise is not from the bottom of her/his heart. This is my feeling and what I derive from her very first sentence. It is upto the people to judge the rest. I am sure Niz Goenkar is aware of it and has played very cooly but very intelligently I can feel that.
ReplyDeleteGuys do not be afraid of any bloggers who are negative to our approach. We will fight them and in good manner, we have a cause and the cause is to liberate Goa from Corruption. These bloggers who are negative are just a small fly in the house. We have lot of comments and lot of people are joining. Start to educate the people to come on this site, then see it will rain like "fire" which will be difficult to extinguished. I have met lots of youth and lot of them have supported our cause and they are watching the "Nizgoenkar" site.
ReplyDeleteNo offence meant to anyone, read my comments. If I said bullshit, then it is for those people who are spreading the negativism of this blog. Please, I am for the blog and not for the people behind the curtain. Sorry if I am falling in between the lines. Viva Goa, Viva Niz Goenkara.
ReplyDeleteWe Goans have written on the (Spineless) Herald and are now on NIZ GOENKAR not just for our benefit but for all voiceless Goans. I pray many true Goans follow the NIZ GOENKARS and contribute their views. "Unity is a Must and not an Option". I have met Menino in London on Thursday during my break from work. I wish him and his family all the best. God Bless .
ReplyDeleteMadam or Monsignor Julie.... No offence meant??? Your first line itslef "Niz Goenkar, you are a bullshit" shows your true colours. If you think that is a praise and not an offence, God give you enough sense to talk sense or differentiate between praise and offence.
ReplyDelete@Julie, at first glance your beginning sentence looks like a direct hit at Niz Goenkar coated with duplicity, scorn and offensive. I myself was stunned and hurt for a few seconds as you left lot of space in between before you continued "....but not for us". I concluded you meant good after reading rest of your comment. I want to be on the good side because it is a dignified way to live life. You will seldom see me here but I am a regular and what I see is amazing, foremost is unity and oneness in this forum. Menino de Valpoi, DLP, Diogofichardo, Shyam Sawant, Trevor, Praxy, N.Fernandes, Dalia, T.Shirodkar, Rahul, Bebdo, Saturnino, Francis, Suraj, Marcel, Trupti Nayak, Ingrid, Sandesh Gaonkar, Joe Rebello, Da Silva, Tina Kamat, Henry fernandes, Anonymous, Dr.Ferdinando and many more are working to make Goa a better place to live for us, niz Goenkars and our future generations. They have created so much awareness of whats really happening in Goa and their vision of a golden goa of its former glory. They are not selfish so let us not be a barrier for their aspirations as it is for all of us. Viva Goa, Viva Niz Goenkar. God Bless you all.
ReplyDeleteThank you Niz Goenkar for taking this bold step and giving us a channel to voice our concerns.
ReplyDeleteJoao, your comment encouraged me back on the forum. I gave up almost after Herald succumbed to the pressure of the politicians and the police, until someone directed me to this forum of Niz Goenkars. I myself made enquiries with Herald and was told that it is none of anyone's business to investigate deeply about the issue. Raul Fernandes is enjoying his profits in Philliphines and lest care about Goenkars. He has not build up this paper but the people of Goa specially in Saxxti where it is more popular. Herald has lost it's voice. Imagine how it started with the English edition and now with such huge revenue from advertisements, it gives a hoot to the feelings of Niz Goenkars.
ReplyDeleteDalia thank you. Dev borem korum tumkam sogleank. Tumim soglim kalzidarponan vavurtat munon amchem Goem korunk eok sorg sounsarant. Viva Goa, Viva Niz Goenkar !!!!!
ReplyDeleteI really thank God for giving us this site that is publishing our thoughts penned here as they are without any censors. There other blogs of Goa but they are puppets of the politicians. Once I put a comment in the GOA NEWS on line but it never appeared my comment because it was against mickky once I had put.
ReplyDeleteThanks to Dalia for speaking to the Herald. I have now figured it out. When we were exposing Mickey the Hearld didn't mind, but when we started exposing CHORchill and the ex-motorcycle pilot it when the Herald shut us down. The media is always supposed to be the clear voice in times of upheaval. Sadly the Herald does not offend such politicians. Very sad. Looking back I remember when the story of the uproar about the Mega project in Carmona was reported it had no information at all, that I couldn't figure out the story, it was only later after I received an email from a fellow Goan that I knew the whole story. What a shame, that the Herald behaves this way. This is not journalism! Journalist die every year in the hundreds to tell the truth. So many of them died in the Iraq and Afganistan wars to get to the truth. That is what true journalist do. I am very disappointed with the Herald……. To Menino, thanks again for all your work in keeping this site going. I know it costs you money. Please look into advertising as a means to pay some of the costs. I have heard that even if we click on any banner you put up it will generate a small income for you. I don’t think our Goans on this forum will care if you used some advertising, as we know you have to pay for the site and you do put all the work in getting the stories to us. Please consider it. Thanks.
