INTERVIEW WITH MANOHAR PARRIKAR by P. Cruz, Vasco Da Gama

NIZ GOENKAR INTERVIEWED MANOHAR PARRIKAR THE OPPOSITION LEADER
INTERVIEWED BY OUR WRITER - P. CRUZ
Interview with Mr. Manohar Parrikar (BJP) Opposition Leader
Date : 20th September, 2010 Venue : Goa Assembly-Porvorim
This interview was taken in Goa Assembly at 15:30 hrs. I have to admire his punctuality as he arrived at the location on time.
Niz Goenkar: Mr. Parrikar why you have chosen to join BJP and not any other Party?
M. Parrikar: I feel BJP is better and clean Party to work for and dedicated to the people.
Niz Goenkar: All Goans are worried about mass corruption which is in process by the present Government, can we stop them?
M. Parrikar: Obviously we can stop it by getting good candidates elected and showing the door for the corrupt ones. The people have to do this during the election.
Niz Goenkar: Atala is missing; do you think it is lapse on the part of the government and its machinery?
M. Parrikar: It is not a lapse on Government side, it is planned and they are responsible for that as lot of people are involved in it.
Niz Goenkar: Do you have any idea about the e-magazine website NIZ GOENKAR and its motivation to fight against corruption and the corrupt ministers/MLA’s?
M. Parrikar: Yes I heard about it but never visited that site…. Good as they fight against corruption, Name some corrupt MLA’s?
Niz Goenkar: Ravi Naik, Mickky, Digambar, Churchill, Joaquim, Mavin, Babush
M. Parrikar: Good! Are those only what about the rest? What about Calangute MLA Agnelo? What about Viswajeet?
Niz Goenkar: Yes they are also in the list, but above are the main target to get them out of the seat.
M. Parrikar: Well fine….that’s good
Niz Goenkar: What are your chances of your party in the next assembly elections?
M. Parrikar: Very Good and BJP will win the majority, now we have backing of the minority Christians and it is increasing.
Niz Goenkar: Do you feel the minority Christians will join your party to vote out Congress-NCP alliance as per BJP’s program?
M. Parrikar: We have 5 to 6 percent of Christians who has joined us and will be voting and we will try to have more of them.
Niz Goenkar: During the assembly session BJP did not raise the issue about the Margao blast and the Sanathan Sanstha, could you tell us why BJP was silent on the issue?
M. Parrikar: Before the assembly session they were already charge sheeted and the case is registered, there is code of conduct in the session and if they are charge sheeted we cannot raise the issue during the session, there is NSA for 60 days. We were the first to denounce the violence and it has nothing with the BJP as the case is ongoing and registered.
Niz Goenkar: So, you are against what they have done?
M. Parrikar: Definitely I am against them of what they have done and I will never support violence.
Niz Goenkar: What do you have to say about the politicians involved with Sanathan Sanstha? Please shed some light on it.
M. Parrikar: The members from the ruling side are involved in it Ravi Naik. Dhalvikar and his wife etc… they are the head of that organization and the inquiry is going on. I can’t say that if the members of the organization are involved means all are involved; the organization is not the party to blast. I will never tolerate any violence, also no discrimination of caste, creed, sex and religion.
Niz Goenkar: Mining is on Rampage and also illegal mining is more, I have visited some places the conditions of the houses are worse due to dust even it’s not fit for animals to stay over there. Why this is not stopped and the people living in those areas are given better life? Why the mining do not co-exist with the people and the environment?
M. Parrikar: Yes I agree with you, this should have been done by the Chief Minister. The people living in that area take money from the mining lobbies like 50 thousand and even it goes to 2 lakhs. A cap on the mining should be applied; we can’t stop all the mines as the economy of Goa depends on that and also employment. The ore is of low grade and is exported to China, we can’t do anything about this ore its better to export to China.
Niz Goenkar: Lot of Christian community wish to join BJP, but they are afraid because BJP has links with RSS, VHP. Is this True? And your comments please…
M. Parrikar: I was a member of RSS Goa I am informing you. But these things happened in other parts of the country not in Goa, do you know if anything happened by these groups in Goa? I will not tolerate this… If someone from this group does something I will punish them. Take an example in Gujrat what has happened it is bad, but what about others parts of the country like in Delhi so many Sikhs were killed when former Prime Minister Mrs. Indira Gandhi was killed, it was a mass Violence. In 1984 about 3000 members of a minority community were slaughtered over three days, the leaders from the Ruling congress were involved in it, what about them why only discriminate BJP. Punish the guilty if it is BJP or Congress the law is for all (He removed one book and gave it to me and asked to read it the title of the book “When A Tree Shook Delhi” by Manoj Mitta & H S Phoolka. Thank you for the book Mr. Parrikar). During the partition of India there was no BJP then 50 lakhs people were killed, so who is responsible BJP or Congress? Look at what’s happening in Serbia, Iraq, and Pakistan? I condemn what happened in Gujrat but in Goa I will not allow this to happen and minority Christian do not fear. Infact I have give more jobs to the minority then the present government.
Niz Goenkar: Our Niz Goenkar blog owner Menino de Valpoi was threatened by some politicians not to publish articles on the ruling party about corruption as we fight for truth. Will your lend us your help and support if we require to fight against corruption?
M. Parrikar: Of course anytime I will help Niz Goenkar. When I started my career I and my wife were threatened but we never cared and went ahead.
Niz Goenkar: What do you think about the mega projects coming to Goa, like Raheja, Vanxim, etc?
M. Parrikar: They all should be stopped and small project should done, the cost is beyond the reach of the Goan people.

NIZ GOENKAR would like to thank Mr. Manohar Parrikar, the opposition leader for sparing his precious moments with us and giving us this interview.

  1. Tranks Mr P. Cruz and Mr Parrikar for the interview.
I have never doubted Mr Parrikar as a good administrator and that Christians were given Jobs. But my only concern is how can he control or eliminate these right wing parties that are willing to disrupt communal harmony. We Goans need to unite and think for the better of Goa and Goans, our future generation is at risk of losing their identity.

  2. I hope Mr Parrikar has learnt from his past mistakes. I realize we all make mistakes. I want to be assured that he ALL his people in his party feel the same way and will work for ALL Goans and NOT divide us based on religion ever again! Goa is in serious trouble. They have vultures that want to grab and kick the Goans out. Our land is too valuable...they want to build marinas, casinos, golf courses, mega projects, hotels...they need our land. Our villages will never be the same if allow one....it will not end, we have to say 'no' now! Otherwise we can kiss Goa good bye!
P.s. encourage domestic tourism and we will loose our Goa! That is a given!!!! Please people of Goa, limited tourism…allow only European Tourists, as they leave and go back. The domestic tourists are coming back for our land….look at all the Bollywood actors, they came for a holiday and now they want to own build their palaces in Goa. Look at Mr Kingfisher…is he a Goan, no…he has a big palace with a fenced gate…do we want our simple villages to turn into this…How are young Goan couples going to own a home and settle in Goa and keep Goa going if the prices of land are so high. Are we so greedy for money to sell our land. Only traitors sell their land. Please people of Goa, please listen before it is too late!!!!

  3. Thanks Niz Goenkar for taking up the initiative to bring up this interview with Parrikar. It is nothing new that whenever the truth is spoken, you will definitely be threatened by the so called corrupts, because they do not want anything to be in public of their wrong undertakings. Today Parrikar is against the Congress because he must have not got his piece of cake, he is not a saint in politics. And now he is only defending his position to get elected in the next election and then the same story line will continue i.e. harassing the Christians, reducing the Christians holidays, desecration of the holy places etc. etc. Dear Goenkars, this is only an initial whitewash, when the actual colour is painted you will see their faces turned black. What has he done for the Mapsekars during his tenure? No development at all and the place is getting worst day by day with no respite to any sufferings for the common people. We should give way for the new faces to take up the system in running the Goa government and book the culprits for their wrong doings, and then only we can see some light and a new horizon will be rising in Goa otherwise Goa will be gone by the wind forever never to return to Goans. We hope and pray that our aspirations and dreams of retaining our motherland to stays intact, for which we are fighting to come to reality. VIVA GOA.

  4. Niz Goenkar my advice and caution, do not make a pact with the devil.(M.Parrikar). Remember habits die hard. Once a communal always a communal. We have to open a new chapter in Goa, new begining, new leaders. The momentum is building slowly but surely. Thank you.

See Da Silva, getting interview does not mean that niz goenkar is making a pact with Parrikar or the BJP. Niz Goenkar is well aware of their devilry during their rule in India and Goa. It is just an Interview to get what is in his mind before the readers. I salute you and franco, whatever you both said here in your comments is absolutely correct. One cannot trust Parrikar or the BJP. They will be the worse party in Power. Totally supportive of Bajrang Dal, RSS & VHP. No right minded person should vote for BJP ever at all.

  6. I agree with all three of you. Electing BJP should be out of question. Even on this interview I doubt that whatever Parrikar said is from his heart. It is said for the purpose of the interview. A good question was asked about Sanathan Sanstha. OK if the topic cannot be brought out in the Assembly, there are other ways of talking about it. He could have talked to the media, press etc. He did nothing of that sort which means he is and will always be a communal person a pro VHP, RSS, Dal and SS.

  7. Kudos to Menino! Niz Goenkar is rising and will soon reach the summit. Good job P. Cruz. Excellent interview. And thank you Mr. Parrikar for promising to support Niz Goenkar. I only want to know if you really, really mean it deep from your heart. Why don't you form your own party with new faces who are not corrupt? Why still with BJP? We Goans will never support BJP because. It is not a Goans' Party. You still have time to think.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Yes dear Niz Goenkar, please be careful of this guy like Da Silva said. I know that you are well aware of it and knows exactly how to react but still.....don't entertain BJP at all leave alone Parrikar

    ReplyDelete
  9. Once a communal is always a communal. BJP can never be a secular party. We do not need BJP or Parrikar back into the ruling. Neither do we need Congress. We need new faces and all independents.

    ReplyDelete
  10. I agree that all of us has a right to be heard and the interview with Parrikar was worth a piece on this forum. We can read their minds and make our own judgements. I hope Niz Goenkar will bring in more interviews in print with different personalities. BUT A CAUTION...Keep away from BJP and CONGRESS, both are devils. Oscar Fernandes said right. But Niz Goenkar shouldn't stop interviewing people becuse we have adverse views on some individuals.

  11. As a devout dog you are with the BJP or you are against the BJP. Most of the BJP follwers are fanatics in wrong places. If Parikar says what he believes in than, he is a good influence to the wrong place.

    ReplyDelete
  12. @johnads... you are either brainwashed by Chorchill or Luizinho dunkrankar. Is Congress any better? They are a chamchas' party where there is no loyalty. The only religion they know is money and sex.
By the way, I neither support the Congress nor the BJP. I am for a party of the Goans, for the Goans and by the Goans. We don't need to consult the HIGH COMMAND in Delhi.

What has the Congress given to Goa, and especially to the Catholics of Goa that we should always vote for the Congress? In fact, Nehru has robbed us of our rights to a special status. Indira Gandhi and later Rajiv used Goa as their holiday home and to send errant trouble makers from the Congress party to Goa to indulge in wine and women. In Delhi, they say 'Goa mein jao aur aish karkey aou'.
Congress is the party which has committed the worst atrocities on the Goans and especially the Catholics. Even now when we have so many Catholic ministers and Congress leaders, how many of them have looked after the welfare of the Goan Christians? Can a poor Catholic boy or girl get a job without paying bribes to this ministers? So why should the Goan Christians vote for the Congress? At the time of elections, I have heard how these Congress leaders brainwash the poor villagers. If you want your religion and churches to be protected then vote only for the Congress. The BJP if it comes to power will destroy your churches.
My dear Goans. We live in a secular country and our Constitution gives equal rights to all of us. No one can destroy our churches. No one can take away our rights. And no one can fool us, least of all the communal Congress leaders.
I know Manohar Parrikar too. I knew him and Sripad before they won any elections. I also know from very close, Prof. Lele, Narendra Sawaikar, Bhusan Bhave, Viswas Satardekar, Sanjiv Kunkolienkar, Mahatme, Keshav Prabhu and many others. Some of them belonged to the RSS and ABVP and they are wedded to an ideology. Despite that, do you know how I treat them? WITH RESPECT. I HAVE SO MUCH RESPECT FOR THEM THAT I THAT I TREAT THEM LIKE MY OWN. But I don't have the same respect for any of the Congress leaders, despite working with them.
Let me give you a small example. For years, one of my neighbours an old woman was harrassed by
goondas who wanted to encroach her property. She came to me for help when the Congress was in power. Sardinha,Shaikh Hassan, Nirmala and even Rane were like family members to me. I went to all of them asking them to help her. No one did, because these goondas too were politically connected.
When the BJP came to power in Goa, this woman came to me once again.I told her I would help her. I fixed an appointment with Parrikar for 11 am since I had a flight to Bombay at 2.30 pm. He was the CM then and despite his busy schedule he kept the appointment and I was in his cabin till 12 noon. There and there he told the top police to help the woman and take action against the goondas. Her problem was solved and she is a Catholic.
I am not taking sides, but just highlighting the difference between the two parties.
After saying all this, I still firmly believe that Goa needs a party of the Goans, for the Goans and by the Goans. Our goal is to save Goa from these 40 chors and preserve our rich culture and heritage for posterity.
Viva Goa, Viva Goenkar, Goa for Goans.

  14. Many of you here (and I assume some of them may be supporters of the Congress party) have voiced their concern about the policies of the BJP and Parrikar's role in fomenting communal tensions in Goa.
Let me make it very clear to one and all. I have interacted with almost all the Congress leaders in Goa, including Eduardo Faleiro and have found that almost all (I give a benefit of doubt to Eduardo Faleiro whom I still respect and had found to be a gentleman)are corrupt, liars, renegades and party-hoppers. I don't even want to compare them with robbers because there is some honour among thieves.
Almost all of the present set of ministers have a past and a very bad present, which every one can see. Official corruption started with Dayanand Narvenkar when he started charging 10,000 rupees for government jobs. Now the price for a job is in tens of lakhs. Sleeping with a number of women is an addiction with all of them. This trend of the old is now being followed by the young leaders of Congress. Vishwajeet when he was young (maybe 17 years) had sent 100 roses on Rose Day to A Costa Pereira (The capital A is intentional) and even allegedly managed to put his leg across her despite she being involved with a Basketball player who was Brain-less. Here Vishwajeet allegedly followed in the footsteps of his father Papa Rane, who allegedly was romping a Christian secretary. Shakti Sinha was and is known to be close to Mrs Rane. He must be still going to her house and worshipping in her temple like he used to do when Rane was out of power and living in Salgaokar House in Altinho. Papa Rane's daughter too had allegedly ran away with a Menezes for 15 days when she was hardly 16. Probably, the young Menezes was scouting for a place, far away from Goa, to build a joint pharmaceutical company.
So far, I have yet to come across a single Congress leader from this present lot who is speckless and clean.

  17. Hey Bebdea, You have kept on repeating yourself over and over.... you are having visionary perceptions at this time and should relax and renew yourself for the next day.

I now you do not say it here but, to make myself clear, I am not a servant, a stooge or an henchman following any of these political parties nor, has anyone to believe that I have been brainwashed, as you say. I see, you as one who headed for the hills from within such high profiles and using a synonym.

Are you afraid to genuinely expose yourself.

  18. Bebdo and Johnads, this should not be a wor on this forum. We have different views and Bebdo is right in his own right as you John. I feel like both of you too as once bitten, twice shy. Let's move forward. For me, if given a choice between Congress and BJP, i would choose BJP as Congress has fooled us for long in the name of fear of BJP. What good has Congress done? Are our members of Christian clergy belongs to BJP? Still, they sell off Church property and indulge in goondaism, looting and corruption. The best is to vote independents, new and fresh faces, people with vision, educated and respectable. But it's doubtful like the dentist who shown us a hope and now moving with corrupt and immoral elements, much before he could contest against the Leitao of Varca. So, where are the hopes?

    ReplyDelete
  19. @johnads... dear Johnads I am sorry if I have hurt you. We are Goan brothers and no doubt we will argue and disagree with one another. But at the end of the day, we are one. Here we should not be the Goans of yore with the crab mentality. Let us all unite to change our attitude and ways. When we fight among ourselves, the ghanttis benefit.
Let me tell you a small story, which I think you too must have read. It is about the two cats and a fox.
It goes like this: "Two cats found a big fish and they started fighting over it. One said it wanted the head while the other said he also should get it. A fox saw them fighting over it and told them that he would be the judge and divide the fish equally among the two cats. He broke he fish into two and put the piece with the head in one scale of the balance and the other with the tail in the other scale. When he noticed that one side of the balance was heavy, he took a bite and placed that piece in the scale again. He then took the bite of the one that was heavy and this went on till there was nothing left in the scales of the balance. A few bones and fins were left when the fox achieved the equal balance. He then pointed to the cats and said 'see now the weight in both the pans are the same, this is your share and this is your share.' The cats on seeing what they got lamented for appointing the fox as the judge to solve their feline issue. They said crying, 'if only we had to share the fish without fighting over who gets what, we would have not gone hungry now.'
I hope you get the moral of the story. This is excatly what is happening in Goa. Our Congress politicians run to Delhi to solve Goan issues. And who is having the last laugh? The ghanttis!
Finally, I forgive you for your remarks. I am a Niz Goenkar and I will always be there for you.
Mog asundi, viva Goa, Viva Goenkar. Long live Goan Unity

  20. Nice article Bebdea but it confused me in what way u refer Eduardo Faleiro as gentlemen. He is the biggest crook of all time.what did he did for Goa & Goans being an MP for several years, nothing except bringing gold of rich Goans from Portugal banks. After getting kick in his ash from chorchill he entered politics through back doors.Reason to loot more,to have lavish life(it is alleged that even his nails are cut by specialist)Bebdea the only thing your gentleman use to do when he was MP was to give big advertisement on Goa newspaper "Self proclaim Badsha is comming to Goa" and his breadcrumb eater like Vasu Pai Goenkar,Monte de Cruz use to keep ready young girls for his entertainment for a short stay in Goa.Poor wife didnot live to known his double standard like Tiger Wood.

  23. johnads... let's not turn this forum of Niz Goenkar into the forum of Herald. Let's not fight amongst each other. The best solution is, if you have any disagreements, exchange them between yourself by direct emails. If we start fighting and arguing here, our enemies (Herald and the 40 chors)will laugh at Niz Goenkar. Let's keep cool and solve our differences mutually. If you don't like to disclose your email id's directly, please go thru' Niz Goenkar's id where your privacy is always protected. Let's not make it a farce. Viva Niz Goenkar!!! This is our first step to climb higher than the monkeys!! hee! hee!! hee!!!

  24. Anonymous... I am still not sure if there is one Bebdo or more or if there is one Anonymous or more. This is really confusing. Yesterday there was one Anonymous VIII who claimed he has upgraded himslef. I write as DLP and I will always stick to it. I only ask you guys not to make this forum that was a junk on Herald. Can we be allgod friends whether we are in Goa or abroad?? It is not a must that you have to be in Goa to fight for Goa! UNITY is the most important. Viva Niz Goenkar. God Bless the ones who write genuinly on this forum and let the Devil take care of others. But I hope and it is my dream that we will prevail over the Devil/s.

  25. @ dlp... if you were a detective then from the style of writing you would know if there is one Bebdo or more. If you and others want me to stop contributing on this forum, I have no issues. It will only reinforce my belief that most Goans are cowards and they surrendered to the rag-tag army of the ghanttis even before the first bullet was fired. But I will keep my gun powder dry and save the bullets to fight the battle of Goa as long as I am alive.

  26. Oh no Bebdo do not go away. You are a Khambo of this forum and along with us a champion of the cause of Goa. I think dlp talks about some other guy on the Herald forum. We need you and the like of you and I am sure even Niz Goenkar will say so and he too will be sad if you leave.

  27. Bebdo you are one of the person I would not like to see stop writing on this forum. Our work is at its infancy and will face many hurdles. In Konkani there is a proverb that says in a cow shed cows horns bang each other but they are not fighting. Goa cries for its children to unite and eradicate bad politicians and crime that are ruining Goa. You are one of those children that are needed here. I am off for a few days without a computer so hope you do not stop.

  28. Hi DLP and Bebdo, we were 8 brothers and sisters. We were poor and our parents were illiterates, but the best of all, they thought us love and forgiveness. We fought and quarreled over minor matters but before the day was over we used gather for the AIMORI, Angelus and after that everything was forgiven and forgotten, until of course the next day or the day after. Now we are all adults, married and still talk about those beautiful bygone days. We were a family. Here too on this NIZ GOENKAR forum we are a family. I have great respect for you two and all the other commentators on this blog. Because we are a family here I know we will forgive each other. NIZ GOENKAR has sowed a seed of a dream. A dream to bring back our Goa to its former glory. God Bless us all. Viva Goa ! Viva Niz Goenkar !!!

  29. Bebdo... I am sorry if I have hurt you, but I have learnt to be very cautious after the Herald forum. I am not a detective either or I would have known. Keep on writing. Just yesterday I appreciated commenting on your writings and to keep it up. No hard feelings buddy. Once on the Herald forum I had threatened to give up commenting but with the support of everyone here, I am still commenting. Shake hands!!! All is forgotten??? Niz Goenkars forever???? Let's keep grinding and fighting. Viva Niz Goenkar!!!

  30. Joao... You really brought tears to my eyes. We were half of your family size, two brothers and two sisters, but the story was the same like yours when we were young. We used to divide between oursleves, just like the current political scenario in Goa. But after all we became one again the next morning but still later during the day for some petty misunderstanding, yesterday's opposition used to join hands and..... the rest you will understand. The reason I was suspicious is because there was another Bebdo on Herald forum, a real irritating character. If you guys were with us on the Herald forum, only then you will understand my comments. But now, after reading the articles by Bebdo, I know this is a different Bebdo from the one who was on Herald forum. Viva Bebdo! Keep your articles coming and also be ready for my comments. Like Joao said, "God Bless Us All". United we will stand, so let us not devide and fall. I am open to any criticism, but let it be constructive and not destructive. Viva Niz Goenkar for uniting us.

  31. @dlp and others.Guys, sorry for hurting u all. We are all one and we will have our differences. Let me also clarify to dlp that I was the same Bebdo who probably had irritated him,Dalia,Menino and the rest. The truth is, I was only testing you guys because we had many events in Goa and in other parts of the world for non resident Goans. They used come just talk and leave. There used to be no follow up action. I was thinking that you guys too were like that. Just shed crocodile tears for Goa and Goans. But you guys have proved me wrong. You are determined to fight for Goa's cause. If we have more like you, then we can certainly win our battle.
For old time's and Herald's sake, let me for the last time use my catchphrase. That is "Ghe re kopache ani chekoi re jantar".
My sincere apologies, especially to N.Fernandes and Joe Rebello for being rude to them. And by the way, I don't live in Swindon, England. But I had been to many places in the world. And yes,I still hold my Indian passport! Sorry guys once again.

  32. Thank you Bebdi for being one of us. At the start we were four Menino (his Niz Goenkar site was under development then), Dalia, Diogo Fichardo and me. Then we also had Trevor, n. Now that I know what your real motives were, welcome to the "Niz Goenkarancho Ekvott" Amigo, Mitr, Buddy, Friend, Pal, Dost.... whatever. Thank you for your support Bebdo. Let's march forward. No looking back now.

  33. What is parrikar saying that he does not discriminate in the name of caste, creed and relgion. He is lying. We know what BJP with RSS has done with Valpoi. His close associate Shirish Gadgil was doing everything to attack other religions in Valpoi under the banner of RSS and BJP and now is in hiding like fox. Can Parrikar deny this? Gadgil used openly say that whatever he does Parrikar will help him out. I dare Parrikar reply to this comment of mine.

  34. Good challenge Iqbal... You think he will respond to this? He only appeared for interview on Niz Goenkar for publicity. As the elections are fast approaching, these corrupt monkeys will even eat your shit if you ask them to do it for publicity sake. All of them suddenly want to be in the picture. I want Niz Goenkar to interview one of the current ruling Congress ministers and compare both the interviews and see their views on Goa. Chors will always remain chors.

All think that BJP is communal I am a Christian but I would favour BJP then the Congress-NCP. I want to inform you all not to crucify Parrikar because of one sin and give him 100 times punishment. When I did not know Parrikar I was angry as he try to cancel the christian holiday. But afterwards I came to know him well and so thats the reason I say not to crucify him.See even god pardon Maria Magdallen and asked the people to throw the stone who is not sinner. We all create sin but there is pardon or forgiveness. The congress ruled Goa for 30 years what they have done look at the fate of Goa now. Look at Baina who cleaned it? People were dying of aids and HIV virus due to Baina. There were Hindus-Christians-Muslim who died of aids, Parrikar cleaned it and not the congress. Even there were lot of anti social elements in Baina.Who started montly pension for old people in Goa it was Parrikar, all the people recieve it even the christian. He also issued computers to the students. At old Goa he made a bypass due to the feast of St. Francis, now all section of crowd are using it.Aldona bridge, etc will support his qualities. I was in USA Boston and when I came to Goa I was suprise that Goa is better then Boston that time Parrikar was CM and he improved Goa a lot.Now Congress-NCP are looting Goa who are the most corrupt minister Churchill, Babush, miccky, Joaquim, Jose Philip D'souza, Mauvin are they not christians. Who stopped SEZ with the help of Mathany Saldanha and the Priest... It is Parrikar. If Parrikar was not in the opposition then the present government would steal chairs, A/c, mics, speaker, phones, tables, etc. I Socorro son of the Goan Soil and nizgoenkar pray to support BJP and we can start right away now in Valpoi.

  38. Lets not take Mr Parrikar too seriously with his comments about the 'minorities'. Thats all horse s@*t ! It is true that he is educated , the most eligible CM today and a very effective administrator. He did much for Goa during his tenure and all the goans recognise that. I have great respect for that ability of his and used to be proud that we had an IITian as a CM. May be more christians got jobs during his tenure, but i know of some who faced his religious bias one to one. There are many more. The very foundation of the RSS/BJP is religious intolerance. As long as Mr Parrikar is with the BJP nothing will change. He will have to toe the party ideology.
Also like to ask Mr Parrikar as to what is stopping him from nailing the corrupt / criminal members of the ruling party now that he knows them by name. As oppostion they do have constitutional powers ! Is it because "you scratch my back and i will scratch yours"
My advise to Mr Parrikar - Go form another secular party with eminent goans ( with clean consciences - who are aplenty ) and win the confidence of the goan people for clean governance most importantly free from religious bias. You will definitely have the people of Goa by your side , minorities included. Goa badly needs a strong administrator. Also hope you Mr Parrikar have learnt the lesson of your life to not give birth to any 'Monster Rats' and 'Mickey Mouses' in the future for coming to power. These are your 'creations' that have become CANCERS for Goa today - giving our beloved state a slow and agonising death.
