EX MLAs SON TO FILE NOMINATION AT VALPOI

VALPOI: In an unexpected political development, Vishwesh Porob, son of former MLA Ashok Porob, who has been close to the Rane family for decades, has decided to file his nomination as an independent candidate for the Valpoi bye election on Monday.
Addressing a press conference late Friday evening, Porob made it clear that he would file his nomination as an Independent candidate from Valpoi constituency.
However, Vishwesh's decision to stand as an independent candidate has surprised everyone, especially since his father, Ashok Parob, is the dummy candidate for Vishwajeet Rane in the bye-polls.
Speaking to reporters, Vishwesh Parob made it clear that he is not personally against any candidate who will contest the election, but said he is against the policies of the Congress Party.
A prominent businessman from Valpoi, Vishwesh stated that he is not forced by any political party to contest the election, but said he got overwhelming support of the people from Valpoi constituency and expressed confidence that he will create history by winning the Valpoi assembly seat.

  1. This is nothing but a ploy, just a game to fool the public and the stupid public of Valpoi who are blindly following Vishwajeet.

  2. Here again comes one more candidate supposed to be social activities (as claimed in today’s Navhind Times) is sitting as independent. I read his portfolio and wonder how far he is dynamic in social activities. Can Mr. Menino de Valpoi share some thoughts on this candidate so that a true person can be indentified from the rogues that are sprouting up to lay their hands on politics?
