SPECIAL POLICE SQUAD HUNTS JOE BOY

PANJIM: Special police teams of Goa police have left for neighbouring States to trace the absconder Joe Boy, who is allegedly given ‘supari’ (contract) to kill Roy, son of the Home Minister Ravi Naik.
Police sources informed Herald that police teams have already reached neighbouring States, where Boy is likely to be hiding after the expose that he was given the contract to kill the minister’s son.
“Goa police in association with the respective state police have launched search operations to trace Joe Boy,” an officer told Herald, last night.
Roy and his brother Ritesh were provided with personal security officers, this week after the pistol-wielding gang chief Michael Luis Fernandes confessed during interrogation to have offered huge sum of money to kill Roy.  Joe Boy, the history-sheeter was allegedly offered Rs two crore to kill Roy.
Fernandes and his gang have accomplished several cases of theft, impersonation, vehicle thefts, robbery, etc. Before the gang-bust, the notorious goons looted three groups of tourist of several lakh at different locations in North Goa. (H)

  1. Why is nobody hunting for Atala? Is it because he is either made to dissapear or buried already? shame on Gua police on this issue. Matka Naik is at peace as the case ate dust?
