CBI on Thursday raided the residence of former Goa minister Fransisco Pacheco. On Wednesday, CBI registered a case against him for allegedly acquiring US visas on forged documents.

The CBI alleged that Pacheco entered into a criminal conspiracy with two private persons -- Pedro Antonio Joanes and Daniel Raymond Fernandes -- along with other unknown people during 2007-2008.
They obtained crew members' visas from the United States Consulate at Mumbai in the names of Joanes and Ernandes, besides other unknown persons on the basis of forged documents and facilitated their travel to the US by using the forged documents, CBI officials claimed.
"Further, it has been alleged that the accused persons obtained these crew men employment letters with the help of the ex-minister of Goa after paying hefty amounts," CBI spokesperson Harsh Bhal said.
The case was registered under different Sections of IPC relating to criminal conspiracy, cheating, forgery and using forged documents as genuine. "Searches and further investigation in this case is in progress," Bhal added.
Media reports had recently said that according to US bureau of diplomatic security, the former minister might be involved in a immigration and money laundering racket. Pacheco had strongly denied this allegation and said he was ready to face any inquiry.
Nearly four months ago, he was forced to step down as Goa tourism minister after being booked in the case of close friend Nadia Torrado's death. (TOI)

Well, Well, Is this also politically motivated? For everything Mickky used to say that things are politically motivated against him. What about the US? Are they politically motivated against him? He is involved in almost everything illegal that goes in Goa. I think if the whole world is searched for records Mickky will be there in at least 80% of the countries' illegal activities.
ReplyDeleteThe vote bank of Goa should know how innocent and ignorant they are to elect such criminals over and over again. Amen.
ReplyDeleteWe need a system in India for every wrong doing by the politicians, they can blame their opponents. This mouse must be having a pre-recorded cassette in his mouth. Every time he is haunted by his own sins, he blames someone else. The smoke screen is getting off his face. Shame, he is wearing white without knowing the meaning of the colour. He has made our Goa black and that white dress don't suit him at all. Bravo John and Felix, your comments must be punched on the heads of his chamchas.
ReplyDeleteOh, Black and White. The other black shirt rog beside the white wearing rog is his partner in crime...Mathew Kentuckee, what a pair of pimps, chors and paedophiles? Birds of a feather are still together on the photograph. They will go to hell too, together, may be.
ReplyDeleteFor every catch it was politically motivation, now which politician went to USA to get this story of Mickky Mouse? This man has spoiled the reputation of Goa through out the world. There are other too who the CBI have to go after. One of them is Ravi Naik and his Son the notorious Drug dealer Roy Naik.
