IS MICKKY PACHECO A REAL MAN OR HIDEOUS MOUSE?**IS THIS WHAT GOANS IN BENAULIM BELIEVE, IS AN HONOURABLE MINISTER?..YOU DECIDE:COURTESY REDIFF.COM
The All India Football Federation on Thursday declared Fransa Pax president Mickey Pacheco 'persona non grata', alleging that he had brought ''disrepute'' to the game, league and AIFF.
While the federation allowed the Goan club to continue playing in the 10th ONGC National Football League, it took strong exception to Pacheco's remarks and behaviour in the recent Fransa-AIFF spat. National Football League coverage
''The president of the Fransa Pax Football Club, Mr Mickey Pacheco, whose actions and statements have brought disrepute to the game of football, the NFL and the AIFF, is declared persona non grata,'' a statement from the federation said.
The decision, taken by AIFF president Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi, has effectively clipped Pacheco's wings. It bars him from corresponding or acting on the club's behalf with the federation or NFL committee.
The statement also said Pacheco would not be allowed to register as one of the officials with the NFL or AIFF. ''He shall not be permitted by the match commissioner and/or LOC to attend Managers Meetings the NFL and shall not be permitted to receive any trophy or award on behalf of the club in AIFF-organised or AIFF registered tournaments in any part of India, until further notice,'' the statement added.
Meanwhile, Fransa Pax will resume their NFL campaign with a match against Air India and play Sporting Club de Goa and Salgaocar subsequently. The decision came close on the heels of the club apologizing ''unconditionally'' before the disciplinary committee of the AIFF for whatever happened on the field on January 30 during their match against Mahindra United.
Protesting against a spot-kick awarded by the referee to Mahindra in that match, Pacheco, who is also a minister in the Goa government, had threatened that his club would pull out of the league.
Was that the final feather that had to be plucked off his cap? He was once every Goan's pride rising to fame from sheer obscurity and, unexpec tedly falling from grace with a bang. Well, we have more than a handful still outstanding whose fate is very much over due.
ReplyDeleteSeems like everyone is coming out of like a wood worm for a chuck of Micky. Are the chips really down on him this time? Believe me these corrupt guys are resilient to honesty and will be up to their tricks if not stopped now.
ReplyDeleteYes the Godinhos, Alemaos, Monserrattes, Naiks, Ranes, Narvekars and the entire 40 thieves will come to justice as Goans stand up to question the corruption, greed and destruction being heaped on Goa and Goans by this rotten bunch!
ReplyDeleteYes...we need to see the others CHORs fall from grace too...they all need be caught and throw out! Ratol-baba thought he could do the same rubbish in the USA, he didn't know that they are smart and can trace everything....his mistake is he thought he could trick and buy his way thru it all, the Americans fixed him...I wish we could get the FBI to work in Goa and get all the goods on all these chors. We have one fox in charge of the hen house, the ex-motorcycle pilot and his drug-peddling son. He has all the goods on the rest of the chors, so they dare not speak up. They all destroyed Goa….all SOBs. The tragedy is Goa was sold to tourism – a big blunder in a corrupt country. Until Goans in Goa are willing to say no to Tourism in its current form, nothing will change. Tourism brought the drugs, the non-Goans and corrupt Goans to our peaceful Goa and rapped it. Our people got dirty too, young children are now involved in drugs, raps and murders..i.e. Dorado case. Land has gone up in price, as Goa was appealing because it is the lest populated place in India. And once, the only clean place. Our Goans are getting a big price for their land and so they are selling it to the builder that will put up a ten-story-flat complex for non-Goans to come stay and vote for the crook that gives them 500 rupees…We need to pass laws that land in the prime coastal areas be sold to Goans only. That is only Goans that can prove their identity at least three generations back. That way our Goans from overseas can also return and be able to live in their homeland. Young Goans can get married and be sure they can afford to buy a piece of land in OUR Goa. This is the only way to say us! I hope Goa could elect honest decent people that have a vision for our Goa. It is our only hope. Viva Goa!
ReplyDeleteIf you look at the photograph above, you will see his shady face. His real life is like his photograph, half visible and half in the dark. This is a man with no morals, no respect for the true and good citizens. A man with dual personality who can camaflouge easily like a chamaleon. His days are numbered, Nadia must be haunting him. The next on the list are his close aides who supported to rape and loot.
ReplyDeleteCrude behaviour, Primero Gravo, what can you expect.
ReplyDeleteGet real Trev! Drugs were in Goa before tourists. Your greedy police and politicians fed on the hippies' bad habits. Don't blame everyone else. This mess is your doing. You voted these goondas in. Vote them out! All countries have drug problems. Get a legal system that is seen to work honestly.
