Goa police is investigating into a fake Facebook account created in the name of State Education Minister Atanasio Monserratte which flashes that he is looking for dating women. The account on social networking website Facebook.com allegedly mentions his interest in women with the section 'looking for', filled up as 'dating'.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Deu Banaulikar said they have received a complaint yesterday and are probing into it. "We have filed a case against unknown person," he said.
Meanwhile, Monserratte said he was "computer illiterate" and was told about the account by his colleague and party legislator Reginaldo Lourenco. The imposter had abused Reginaldo on the account.
The account has several ministers including Public Works Department minister Churchill Alemao as friends. Visit to the account reveals that it was last updated on September 3 at 8.11 pm.
Monserratte was in news after being named as an accused in the 2009 Panaji police station attack case. The minister was arrested and had spent seven days in police custody last year. Then United Goans Democratic Party (UGDP) legislator, has now joined Congress party. - PTI
I enjoyed this story....nice to have a laugh at their expense for a change! He deserves everything he got. Kudos to the person that set up that website. I wish I could have had a chance to see it and laugh my heart out! The donkey does not know how to turn a computer on, and he is supposed to bring the children of Goa into the new century. I wish he would resign and spend more time with his son, so that the son does not harm another innocent life.
ReplyDeleteTrevor, the funniest part is that a man who does not even know to turn a computer on, and he proudly declares so, how can he be an education minister. That is why there should be a minimum qualification for the contestants. It should be last last XII pass in first class only
ReplyDeletePoor donkey is defamed because of an illiterate education minister. The donkey would be very sad to see that a nut nuttier than himself is an education minister of Goa.
ReplyDeleteSo very foolishly an education minister says the he does not know turning on a computer! This is the biggest joke of the year. God save the students from such education ministers. My two years old son knows how to turn on the computer and then turn it off.
ReplyDeleteThere are other bad deeds of his that should haunt him more than this real image of his portrayed by the facebook. Whoever has done it, really deserves a praise for whatever mentioned at least on this news that is on the facebook is very much correct about this second goonda of Goa.
ReplyDeleteI have no words to condemn this man. Our education is rotting because of him. Joe Rebello has rightly pointed out about the minimum qualifications for the contestants in the elections. XIIth pass in first class.
ReplyDeleteI guess, you are all are right in your own words but, is it not your vote that has put him in that embarrassing situation? You all have a good laugh at yourselves and not him because, your overwhelming consensus has put the idiot that he is in that position. We Goans make a fool of ourselves by wasting our precious votes on an ignorant, untaught and an utterly illiterate personality. How do you feel now, I suppose worst than a donkey, isn't?
