NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court on Tuesday slammed the authorities for taking advantage of the "colonial law" on land acquisition to divest farmers of their prime agricultural land benefiting the rich and paying "pittiance" to common men.
The apex court said a "sinister campaign" has been launched by various state governments to take advantage of the law against the poor people for taking away the land and giving it to builders where multiplexes, malls, posh residential complexes are developed which are beyond the reach of common men.
So if the Supreme court has made this verdict based on the facts that land acquisition is not per the guidelines why cannot they impose an order on those corrupt Governments of the state? Is somebody holding their hand or is the arm of the law too short to touch the Government in power? It really baffles my mind to read the statement from the supreme court and yet no action is forthcoming.
ReplyDeleteIn south they already did this near the KTC busstand and SGPDA market. THEY HAVE SOLD HUGE MALL TYPE SHOPS WHILE PAYING THE LANDOWNERS A PITTANCE.
ReplyDeleteThey have similar plans near the saipen tollem to reder the fields uncultivable by flooding it with sewage water and then Chrchill declaring that uncultivated fields may be acquired. this is their siniter plan. I have a small field there.
If Digu and Churchill are planning this I PROMISE BLOODSHED. BOTH CAN START PREPARING RIGHT NOW. DIGU WITH HIS MONTE HILL TALWAR GANG AND CHURCHILL WITH HIS CARMONA CAVELOSSIM GOONDAS.
