GOVT TO RECONSIDER SP TRANSFERS SINCE OBJECTED BY DGP

PANJIM: The government will on Monday examine the transfers of a few superintendents of police (SPs) after it received a letter from director general of police (DGP) Aditya Arya objecting to the transfers, chief secretary Sanjay Srivastava said.
Srivastava said that he has received the letter from the DGP requesting that the transfer of SPs should be reconsidered. "I have gone through the letter sent by the DGP. We will examine the views expressed by the DGP on Monday and then we will take a decision," Srivastava said.
The DGP, while going on leave, had orally instructed the SPs to stay at their present postings, till he returns on July 30. – TNN

  1. Yes, the SP's need time to collect the pending dues of haftas before they are shunted out from the lower cadre, after recovery, it will not be a problem.

The DGP (fondly now known as Gen DYER) is a new kid on the Block of Goa Police.
How will he know the merits ...or de-merits of each SP.?

And who the hell  effected the transfer of SPs  without the consent and knowledge of  DGP,that too when he is on leave.? POLITICAL HEADS should be well exposed .I congratulate  DGP for  taking decision to  cancel the transfer orders of SPs in Goa, which were issued in his absence and without taking his views on the matter. All the top officers should know their duties and should not act as DOLLS in the hands of POLITICIANS. WHAT shall be the fate of H M now, especially when  POLICE----ROY-----DRUG nexus case investigation by CBI is in full swing . It is expected that the opposition should  investigate this issue and public should know the details of POLITICAL INTERFERANCE  and expose the HM----DGP---CHIEF SECRETARY EPISODE.
