PANJIM: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday demanded the arrest of Goa Home Minister Ravi Naik’s son, Roy, for his alleged links with the drug mafia in the state. Leader of Opposition Manohar Parrikar said that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), which is investigating the drug-nexus case, should arrest Roy, as he stands accused in the case.
BJP’s demand comes after an interview given by Swedish Model, Lucky Farmhouse on Thursday, in which, she said that Roy was giving drugs to her former boyfriend Atala (alias Yaniv Benaim).
Parrikar said that Lucky, who is the prime witness in the drug-nexus case, should be questioned immediately by the CBI, so that Roy's role becomes clear. BJP also demanded that CBI should investigate Goa Crime Branch officers for their connivance at the Israeli drug lord involved in the drug nexus case.
"CBI should take into custody Deputy Superintendent of Police Chandrakant Salgaoncar and Police Inspector Pravinkumar Vast, who arranged bail to Atala," Parrikar said. Seven policemen were arrested after Lucky had shot video clips of Atala bragging about his links with the officers. – PTI
How can they now arrest Roy Naik, the evidence is destroyed by Chandrakant Salgaonkar at the request of his master Ravi Naik. The matka bookie, an uneducated buffoon Ravi Naik that that this is the end of the world. He thought that only Chandrakant Salgaonkar is the master of the whole world. Chandrakant Salgaonkar is the master of all prostitutes in Goa
ReplyDeleteI hope BJP gives this equal if not more priority than their self created MOI issue.Lets see them come on the streets for this issue.
ReplyDeleteI think all decent and Law abiding Goans would like to see Roy Naik and Ravi Naik too arrested.
ReplyDeleteRoy naik must be arrested, so also his father Ravi naik & chandrakant salgaonkar for aiding & abetting these crimes. And whilst they are at it they must also haul digamber kaka as well for his see no evil, hear no evil attitude
ReplyDeleteI will put my hat down with respect if the BJP can come out and enforce the rule of law gainst the named Drug peddlars who are now openly being ' NAMED". For sure this will get the BJP some additional Mileage.
