SENSELESS REMARK by Firoz Khan (E-mail)

Controversy over the MoI is seen happening from unwanted quarters. Unfortunately, declaring bandhs and disrupting routine work is taking its toll on the innocence of our future generation. I would like to appeal to the true lovers of Konkani language to dissuade from getting used by parties that have a political agenda and communal mind. Reason it out on how to safeguard Konkani language and how to develop it for higher studies.
It is unfortunate that BBSM and BJP have descended to the gutter level to protest the MoI and that too, by hurting the sentiments of the parents. Tarun Vijay, while criticising on MOI, said that those who opt for English have a slave mentality. Can he clarify this? He and the party that he represents, owes an apology to all.

  1. I wonder what suraksha this BBSM are talking about. Let them clarify first which bhartiya bhasha they are talking about w.r.t goa. No one if forcing anyone to learn in english. So whats the big fuss. Fuss if any should be using the word bharatiya bhasha because it would give backdoor entry to other languages. I have no beef against any language, but it looks to me as if this BBSM is using this MOI issue to give credibility to marathi, by using konkani and calling them bharatiya bhasha. In dont think the konkani speaking people in maharashtra and karnataka have an option of having konkani as their first and second language, so why this dadagiri in goa. If any BBSM supporters are up for a debate on this issue, lets hear from you. Holding bandhs, and demonstration using your owm people without hearing the opposition is akin to fooling yourself.

Tarun Vijay is not the spokes person for the majority, the true Goans have spoken and that is final. BBSM and BJP are out to enslave Goans by imposing their wishes. The sooner we kick them out of Goa the better Goa will be.

  3. Reposting my earlier Comment: They have a new tactic now, they have managed to lure in University Students in to help support their cause, I really did not know that our Students could scope so low, this Yugank Naik, himself is a student pursuing his Master of Arts at Goa University’s Centre for Latin American and International studies, how ironic, they don't understand the basic concept of MOI, no one has asked to stop Konkani from getting grants and being an option, well Marathi, yes if we can we should remove it from the list, all we ask is for English to be added as an option without disturbing the existing system and since the issue has long been solved, why do they have to keep digging the issue over and over again, I’ve heard Parrikar's 1st wish when BJP comes to power is to scrap English and Burry it, think people before you vote and whom you vote for... this is utter madness and so uncivilized that an issue like this is being fought over esp. by Politicians, Self Claimed Freedom Farts and now these Univ Students....

Goans are lacking in Unity or else these Non-Goans that inter fear in our lives would be kicked out of Goa.

  5. All against the MOI for English, please remove the game of Cricket from India, PLEASE!!!!! I prefer soccer (it is less English)......We don't need any of these foreign invasions in India.....I ask the BBSM and the BJP to join my cause! Ban the game of cricket...it is an ENGLISH invasion!!!!!! All school children should be banned from playing this English game!! If you see any children in Goa or India playing this game please slap them on the face and tell them to go home. We don’t need them playing this ENGLISH game! From now on only Goan games should be played in Goa! Please join me in this cause. I am very confident our (FF)Freedole Farters of Goa will join me, as they have the same thinking! All western influences should be removed from India!!! Any ideas on starting a bandh for my cause????

Why BBSM? Why Bharat Basha Suraksha? Why not Konkni Basha Suraksha?
To give Marathi a back door entry again?

English is no longer the private property of Her Majesty the Queen of England. It is the language of the Jewel in the Crown of that Queen. It is the language that unites North and South India and then unites India to the rest of the world.

Activists and members of BBSM and BJP have shown themselves as slaves of the neighbouring State that wants to engulf and enslave Goa and Goans.

  10. Welcome Trevor, Football is a mans Sport and Cricket for me personally is an Homosexuall game, fortunately it was never played on Goan soil, this homosexuall game was brought in by the invaders. In Thivim they are destroying forest land, that this homosexuall game can flourish. Sad to say, all or most of our good football stadiums / grounds are destroyed due to this homosexuall game.

This Homosexuall game has even no place in normal sports, the next Olympic is in England. You can see this Homosexuall game has no place in Olympic sport.
