NCP CROOKS FIGHTING AMONG THEMSELVES

PANJIM: The feud within Goa NCP on Thursday hit another low, with a senior functionary calling a colleague 'an associate of Tiger Memon', a wanted accused in 1993 Mumbai blast case.   Party's national secretary, Jitendra Deshprabhu, alleged that state NCP's senior vice president, Suresh Parulekar, was linked to Tiger Memon, and hence he should not have been given a position in the organisation.
It is hard to understand why the HIPPOPTAMUS of NCP Trojano D’Melo is now silent over the issue. Talking to reporters today, Deshprabhu alleged that Parulekar had been linked to Memon, and the two were involved in a land deal.
"(NCP chief) Sharad Pawar does not even know about his appointment. His ouster from the party is necessary to ensure that people believe in NCP," said Deshprabhu, who had earlier accused NCP's observer Bharati Chawan of selling party posts in the state.
When asked for a comment, Parulekar rubbished the allegations. "When I met Memon, he was not a criminal. I had a business transaction with him but I never knew that he was a criminal. But why is Deshprabhu raising these issues now," he said. – PTI
