PARRIKAR ACCUSES GOVERNMENT OF LETTING ATALA FLEE THE COUNTRY

Opposition leader Mr. Manohar Parrikar has charged the government for issuing the red corner notice (LOC) on Atala the notorious drug dealer involved in the police drug nexus, inspite of knowing that he (Atala) had already left the country.
Parrikar said that the government allowed Atala to leave the country and then set about to issue the red corner notice. “The government probably made sure that Atala left the country before issuing the red corner notice” he said. He also added that the chief minister Digamber Kamat and the home minister Ravi Naik called on the governor only after confirming that Atala left the country. He accused the Congress led government for corruption on all fronts. He appealed the Goan voters to show the government its place in the forth coming Municipal elections. “If the municipal polls go against the government, it will certainly indicate something against the government” said Parrikar.
Parrikar also exposed the misdeeds of the present ministers from the Chief Minister to the Home Minister and the heads of the Government run corporations. He pointed out to the party workers how every minister and the heads of the corporation being involved in huge scams.
Referring to the protests made by the cronies of Home Minister that Ravi is targeted by the Opposition because he belongs to the Bahujan Samaj; Parrikar said these same people did not utter a single word or lodged protest when various schemes launched by the BJP for the welfare of the Bahujan Samaj were dumped by the present government. “The old age pension is in disarray. The computer scheme is in doldrums. All these schemes would have benefited the Bahujan Samaj more than any other community”, he said.
BJP North Goa MP, Shripad Naik lambasted the government both at the Centre and State governments for the price rise affecting the common man. Saying the ongoing public meetings are not being held with an eye on the assembly polls, Naik said the State is being hit by various scams. “The government seems least bothered about these scams. Hence, we decided to approach the people with the issue to bring awareness on the functioning of the government”, he added.
The North Goa MP also said that Speaker Pratapsing Rane, has not carried out much development in his constituency during his long debut in politics. Fatorda MLA Damu Naik has said that the people of Fatorda are aware of the various scams perpetuated by the government and exuded confidence of winning the seat for the third time. “The people of Fatorda can differentiate between gold and brass. Those who indulge in illegalities and distribute goodies with an eye on the polls would not garner votes from the people”, he added.

  2. Hello Mr. Parikkar... what proof do you have that Atala has left the country, huh???? It is the same regime. When you used to do such deeds, the Congress would accuse you and they came to power. Now it is vice-versa. I hope both the parties rot in hell and fight against each other. There are plenty of corrupt lawyers there waiting for people like you.

  3. I have a dangerous feeling that Atala has been killed not by the mafia as claimed by our politicians but either by the police or by Ravi Naik and his son with the help of the CM of Goa. I hope my worst fears don't prove right else all the corrupt policemen will be back on duty and selling drugs about.
