TRUTH IS SOMETIMES BITTER

Truth is always bitter especially for discarded people who believe in using religion to suit their conveniences. A coward is a person who even if just labeled a BJP ideologue feels other are raising communal bogey but when the same person blindly criticises the priest it is sanity for him. May I ask did priest order violence in Colva; are there no forums in our community for sane people to air their grievances. If political vengeance is to be settled with your mentors then have the courage to organize a public tete-a-tete, why act like cowards and use forums like tiatr or musicals to incite the community by making blasphemous comments against the priest. I have always said and maintain that we have a few disgruntled Catholics who with their outdated views are trying to ferment unrest in our community by using the property bogey and the sooner we get rid of them, the better will be our community.

For some ideologues, burning of poor Christian and Muslim homes as has happened in Kandhamal and our own Curchorem will always be a sign of Victory. Help them for they do not know what they practice. Atleast I criticize all the politicians irrespective of their party but solely in the interest of Goa and my Goemkars. And while I don’t need to defend Oscar, I request anyone who wants to know what Oscar represents, please have a public debate with him, I am sure he will readily oblige and silence all those wanting to tarnish his image

CHILDISH MLA’s By Praxy Fernandes, Sanquelim

Our Goan MLAs should stop treating the constituencies as their own property whenever they decide to criticise their colleagues. Infact some ministers are so childish that they don’t realize that such controversies reflect on their upbringing and their personality. If a constituency is developed by any MLA isn’t it better for the public and the all round development of our tiny state of Goa. But what can one expect from these guys when some of them are not properly educated while some don’t even know what they have studied. These people have become MLAs only with money and muscle power and our voters don’t mind because they are kept happy during election time with loads of alcohol and cheap food stuff supplies. Some of the present minister jokers don’t know how to run their ministries while some don’t even know what is going on in their own departments. This is where one needs to appreciate the senior Rane who was always forthright in his administration save for his egos but at the same time the junior one does seem to possess an iota of his father’s features and seems to have got spoilt with the company he has kept. Our present day ministers are so engrossed in amassing wealth that they feel development taken by others will reduce their earnings. They hardly care for the welfare of the state and rather have ruined our beautiful place with their greed and dishonesty. Hope someday they become victims of the disgusting present state of affairs which they themselves have been responsible for.
