DISGUSTING GOAN POLITICIANS by Praxy Fernandes, Sanquelim

I was aghast to read statements made by Goan politicians recently. It is difficult to fathom what they mean and really reflect on their character. One NCP minister said his colleague resigned with dignity; probably his same colleague is on the run to save his and Goa’s dignity or the police are no more treating politicians & ministers with dignity, is it !!!!! Can these looters of Goa be ever dignified and the party whose leaders and members are involved in corruption all over India country and even have soiled the image of cricket game. Now they say their colleague is being framed in the Nadia case. Even a moron will tell the wheels of justice are coming to a full circle in nailing the culprits. This NCP is such a useless party that they want only ministership and chairmanship of corporations just to loot while they can’t even perform. All departments handled by them are only helping non-Goans and are so corrupt that no work can be got done by local Goans without having to go through miseries.

Worse is a NCP politician likening his undignified colleagues’ troubles to that of Goddess Sita; if the same utterances were made by someone from other religion, the BJP would have given it a communal color. And the less said the better about PWD minister because he never really knows on what ground he speaks and probably feels all his Goan brethren aren’t educated enough and so can be fooled everytime. Indeed a sad reflection of the flamboyance of our modern Goan society.

NIZ GOENKAR ADDS: If after committing murders, adultery, polygamy, extortions, goondagiri, the guilty or the offender or the accused resigns from his post, is it called a resignation with dignity? What kind of dignity? where is the dignity?
