THE GOAN CM with divine help & e-governance and his opposition leader

The Goan CM of non-goans claims getting divine help due to which he has been able to hold on to his chair for the last 3 years. I wonder when we Goans are going to get any divine help in getting rid of all these politicians who have made life miserable for us Goans. Much of the divine help seems to have been used for coining a mantra called “e-governance” which for me translates into EXTORTION GOVERNANCE”. Using ‘e-governance’ as the mantra all the politicians in Goa go hammer and tongs to tell us that reforms are being made in the administration for the sake of public. But can anyone tell me which of the online project has been successful or has been operational beyond the day of the inauguration. One day when I went to the Margao Collectorate to get information on land records the e-governance kiosk which was inaugurated with much fanfare was in such a mess so much so that when I touched the mouse the keyboard collapsed and lo! all the onlookers were staring at me as if to acknowledge that I had inaugurated the on-line project for the betterment of governance in the state. I wonder if Bill Gates would take a leaf out of our politicians and expand his revenues.

Coming to the opposition leader in Goa, I feel he is a genius because he keeps fooling us everyday through his tom-tom ways. Everyday he cries hoarse about corruption and lawlessness in the state. But isn’t he the one who created an officially corrupt corporation known as the GSIDC which does not use the GSR(Government Scheduled Rates) and uses the market rates which spiral to such an extent that on completion of the project all those involved in it can actually make money for their generations. Isn’t he the one who had got documentary evidence of sex scandals and other things and yet when in the CM’s chair never took any conclusive action against all involved. Isn’t he the one who appointed the present day PSI’s who today are the root cause of the indiscipline in the police department and who are part of all the criminal activities taking place in our state and isn’t he the one who helped guys with criminal intent prosper by making them ministers in his cabinet so much so that one of them has had the cheek to attack the police station and the other feels that bigamy is the best policy for our tourism industry.
After all it is said birds of the same feather flock together. However the irony is they have been able to fool all the Goan people all of the times.
