Parrikars’ utterances in ongoing assembly session as reported in newspapers that Police Inspector is involved in mining activities and government servants die due of work stress make a farcical reading. May I ask Parrikar to name any government servant who works sincerely nowadays with an intention to serve the public, worthy of the revised salary he or she receives? Or for that matter are not the present bunch of PIs nay should I say the thieves in uniform, the ones given the job positions through auction during the BJP rule. Naturally they are now working towards recovering lacs of rupees they paid in getting appointed. So is it a big surprise that some PI is involved in mining activities or in selling drugs or prostitution or in snatching mangalsutras/gold chains from women or in asking sexual favours from tourists or in abetting crimes including robbing temples/churches as allegedly reported in the news. Goans like me are still keen to know as to what happened to the case wherein their fraudulent appointments were challenged in the Supreme Court. And talking of repeatedly highlighting illegal mining activities isn’t Parrikar the one who allotted Digambar the mining portfolio during the BJP rule or do you think whatever is happening nowadays on mining scene started only recently. And didn’t Parrikar in order to become CM join hands with uneducated goons and make them ministers and who continue to be till today. Let face the truth; whether it is BJP, Congress or regional parties, today’s politicians are the biggest enemies of Goans. So my fellow brethren please do not get fooled by the dramatics enacted in the assembly sessions as all politicians are hand in gloves in the destruction which we are witnessing today on all fronts in Goa. The only way forward is to recall these betrayers and find and elect guys who will selflessly work for the betterment of Goa, a place dear to my heart.
