For the Eyes of Goans Only

Message of Support by Dalia

Menino mojea Bhava,
This is Dalia, you have my full support and permission if you want to publish some of my own views written on Herald, Goa News and other blogs. However, I will contribute to your blog sooner more directly. It can be called as Dalia' Corner if you like and I will contribute regularly some small topics and comments on day-to-day situations.

Cheers, keep up the good work. Do not expect all Goans to get together to make a change, do not expect that all Goans (I mind to say NIZ GOENKARS) will come forward to do things physically or through monetary means.

ALL and ALL, what is required is to be done by all dear NIZ GOENKARS is changing the mindset of the general Goan public in creating awareness, creating a flow of good ideas pointing to the pointer in which direction we are heading today. Mindset change has enabled people to pursue their goals more effectively. Mindsets frame the running account that’s taking place in people’s heads, in creating awareness, a change could slowly come, not that far away for people to think how can they help themselves to change Goa for better, for their own and future generations.

Thank you Menino,
Keep Going,
DALIA

Missed out Point by Saturnino Rodrigues

However, I missed to add that the ration cards preparation process was for the illegally housed migrants from one of the 20 Point Program housing project with about 1500 people occupying 410 plots of 100x100 Sq/mts area. The place is called Soco Bhat in the village of Seraulim. The land was acquired by the government in the name of providing housing to poor Goans. The actual owners of the land are unknown and somewhere in Portugal. Out of 410 plots, only 7 are occupied by Niz Goenkars. At the moment, it is understood that the going rate for each plot though illegally sold by the same migrants to other new migrants is approx Rs 5 lacs plus. Demolishing some of these structures, some bungalow type houses are already built. These are not poors from Goa but migrants.

The migrants however did not come and simply settled there, our own NIZ GOENCARS who are corrupt Village Panchas initially installed these migrants for a few thousand Rupees. Now the place is famous for street fights, illegal and immoral activities. There are temples and mosques mushroomed up in a small area where there were none before. This is Goa dear Menino, let us not blame the migrants, blame our own fellows in the first place. I am 50 plus of age and till date do not have a ration card and I don’t need one.
