VISHWAJIT AS SPORTS MINISTER by Dr Anil Desai, Goa Velha

RECEIVED BY EMAIL
Vishwajit Rane is educated and makes quick decisions. He should be made Sports Minister, if the infrastructure is to be completed for National Games. I fully agree with Joaquim Teles in his letter ‘‘Vishwajeet’s contribution’ (Herald, 1 Oct) about the contribution and efforts of Vishwajit Rane, Health Minister, in upgrading the facilities in the health sector, especially in Goa Medical College.
Today, GMC gives free medicines to its patients including Insulin. Tests are conducted at the centralized Laboratory and people no longer have to rush from one ward to another. The new hospital with its excellent equipment can be compared with any good private hospital in the country. Rane monitors its working on a day to day basis. Shri Teles, who was the Joint Director in GMC, also did a wonderful job. He should be transferred back to GMC to complete the unfinished work of increasing the MBBS seats from 100 to 150.

  2. It isn’t how much education a person receives that counts, its how much love you have for Goa that should be measured. Only then can good decisions be made, enabling the Goan people to be prosperous.

  4. Dr Anil, How much did VishwaSHIT pay you to write that ? By the way are you goan ? If not you do not have the right to write such crap. If you are indeed Goan, you need to be beaten up black and blue because Goa is what it is because of people like you.
