MONEY MOTIVE OF KILLING MAPUCA TEACHER

PANJIM: Albert Luis, 70, retired teacher from Mapusa, was killed for his money by three "friends" he had invited to his house on that fateful day, investigations have revealed.
Police sources said the motive of the murder was revealed after the arrest of one of the accused, Aftab Siddiqui, 25, almost a fortnight back.  Siddiqui was picked up from Hyderabad by a Mapusa police team.
During interrogation, Siddiqui, a ladies tailor at Mapusa market, revealed that he along with two of his friends had murdered Luis who was found dead with a gunshot wound in the temple and wearing only a white vest at his house at Shetyewaddo, Duler.
Police also found an empty .32mm cartridge by the side of the body, a packet of condoms on the bed and one on the floor.
Polices sources said, "A few days before the murder Luis called Aftab and said he wanted to get to know a friend of his working in a garment shop better. He then invited this friend, also an accused in the case, to his house and promised to teach him English." (TOI)

  1. A sad state of trust, Albert wanted to teach them english but instead these murders sent him to his maker. I have been saying always the law in Goa is an ass, we have to break away ftom the centre and have strict laws. That will deter this type of crimes and will make Goan's lives safer.
