DUBAI:CHURCHILL CAME, LIMPED & LEFT WITH EGG ON HIS FACE by Bebdo

DUBAI: The time was exactly 10.10p.m in Dubai when Churchill reached Al Nasr Leisureland. Outside the entrance to the Al Nashwan Hall just four of his chamchas were waiting for him. Churchill didn’t even had an invitation with him and the security guard stopped him while he was trying to enter from the passageway outside the hall.
One of the chamchas was heard saying he is a minister from Goa, but the security guard stood his ground and insisted on seeing a ticket. Another chamcha ran inside the hall to call the organisers Anthony and Bernard to escort Churchill inside. Someone said, Peter Roshan should come out and escort him only then will the security allow him in. Churchill had to wait for around five minutes outside on the road before he was allowed to go in. All this time he was on the road leading to the passageway to the hall.
When the permission was given for Churchill to enter, the chamchas started talking among themselves. One said: ‘Oh he has been stopped at the gate’. The other replied: ‘Do you think this is Goa, This is Dubai where he won’t get the Salute baba’. Finally, poor Churchill had to limp all alone to the hall. He had no chamchas too as escorts.
At 10.30 p.m.,the tiatr started with a song praising the oneness of God, be it Ram, Jesus or Allah. I was waiting for the usual praise for Churchill and as per my expectations; the first song praising Churchill was delivered by Xavier Gomes. This Xavier with his half-baked knowledge of Da Vinci Code gave credit to Churchill for stopping the screening of the movie in Goa (by the way I have watched the movie four time and also read the book twice written by Nicolas Karantkazis).
In his song, he stated that had it not been for Churchill, the screening of the movie would have not been stopped. He then drew the attention to a cartoon published in Times of India about Jesus and his disciples. In the cartoon, one half of the disciples were shown as BJP and the other Congress. Now as a tiatrist I assume this Xavier is an artiste. And I don’t know what right he has to criticise creative art and question the freedom of expression and the exploration of knowledge which is beyond his realm as Xavier is an uneducated person.
This song was followed by a duet. It was sung by Janet and a guy whose name I don’t know. This Janet also praised Churchill to the skies and narrated in the song how she was hospitalised due to a spinal injury and Churchill told her that he would fit her hospital bill. She thanked Churchill in the song for the help rendered.
I knew that this was all planned. However, the plot of the tiatr was different. It revolved around a Goan girl married to a Raj Pillai from Andhra (I think someone should tell Peter Roshan that there is no surname called Pillai in Andhra Pradesh… Pillai is a common surname in Kerala and some parts of Tamil Nadu). Nevertheless, the tiatr was about Goan girls getting married to ghanttis and the ghanttis then ditching them, and that the ghanttis get married to Goan girls only because of the money which they would inherit from the girl. It was a melodrama with all the masala of a typical present day Goan scenario. ‘Big Mama’ played a good role and conveyed a very strong message about the pitfalls of such marriages.
Niz Goenkars were in full strength. Within a short period of time, we made arrangements to bring all our members from places even as far as Al Ain and Fujairah. We were more than 200 strong in a crowd of nearly 800 people. Our members’ wives and children too were transported to the venue. Since we managed to get the tickets late, we occupied almost all the last rows with the exception of a few seats in between. Around 50 of our guys preferred to stand behind the last row and they continuously booed and jeered every time Churchill’s name was mentioned on stage either by the singers or the organisers.
All of us were getting ready for the interval. We knew that Churchill would make his speech and we were expecting that he would blast Niz Goenkars like the same way he did to Arwin Mesquita.
I was surrounded on both the sides each by five members of Niz Goenkars and our other members were sitting behind me since as per our plan we were supposed to confront Churchill if he had dared to challenge Niz Goenkars. I had all the papers ready and our other members were ready too to protect me in case of any commotion.
I had files on his turnaround on Mopa and Dabolim Airport, paper cuttings and recordings of talking about accepting money to ask a question in parliament when he was the MP and the scandal was aired on Star TV (what a shame for Goa); document which he had signed as a PWD minister to get the approval for the Raheja project in Carmona, and other very important documents regarding the working of the PWD department and how some contractors were harassed and made to pay a certain percentage to certain people who in turn hands over the money to Churchill and his daughter.
During the break, Bernard and Anthony came on stage, and as usual thanked the sponsors and donors for the tiatr. Then they thanked Churchill for making it to the tiatr despite being sick and requested him to say a few words. Initially, they announced that he would give a speech by sitting and not by standing on the stage. Churchill, however, made it to the stage with the help of a chamcha.
He addressed the audience in a very cordial manner and said that on October 2, he and Digu the cowmuth Kamat had a very hectic day as it was Mahatma Gandhi’s birthday as they had to attend to many functions in the state. While travelling with Digu he said that he suffered a ‘catch’… ‘I got a cramp”. And then he pointed to his hip region to indicate where it was. With the prayers of all the people of Goa, and with the help of an ayurvedic doctor, he said he was cured within 6 days. He said since he had made a promise to the organisers that he would come to Dubai for the tiatr he fulfilled that promise and reached Dubai despite the objection to his trip by his family members.
He then touched on the topic of criticism of politicians in dramas and stated that in politics it is not possible to please all and sundry. “If you help 100 people, there will at least be 2 who would be against you,” he added. He then spoke about some bridges which he is trying to construct. One of them is the Talpona Bridge which will be a shinning example for the whole of India and for which Kamal Nath has given his permission. He also tried to take credit for stopping the construction of an expressway in Goa due to space constraints and which would have required the demolition of many houses. He also took credit for the new approach road and for bringing the number of lanes from six to four.
He then appealed to all Goans working abroad to do their jobs properly, save enough money and ultimately return to Goa. Finally, he appealed to them to unite and assured his support and his family’s support for Goans and their causes.
That’s it. That was the end of the speech. One or two persons in the front row applauded, the sound of which was drowned by cat-calls and boos from the rear and the middle of the auditorium.
After the interval break, two more songs followed praising Churchill and his family. Three children dressed as a pilot, advocate and the last in gaudy shinning outfit portrayed themselves as Valanka the Daughter, Savio Alemao and Raisa Alemao (Joaquim Alemao’s daughter). They extolled their academic qualifications and bragged about their achievements. It looked like a matrimonial advertisement for the trio.
Finally, at 2.20 am. Churchill left the auditorium. This time, Bernard, Anthony and three more chamchas ran after him, chasing his shadow. They followed him right near the Landcruiser with registration number 88903. He only had a quick word with Bernard and Anthony and left. Dejection and disappointment was written all over his body as he left.
His face, his walk and his limp said it all. He realised the fact that he cannot fool the people all the time and Niz Goenkar is a powerful force which is gaining momentum.
With his low self esteem and battered confidence, he was looking pathetic, worse than a crumbled paper tiger.
Guys, I can’t help writing this. I found that this is the most amusing part of the entire tiatr. Churchill and me reached the venue at the same time and also left the venue at the same time. We matched each other step-for-step. But guys, I was sober. Had I downed a few pegs either at Pandu’s or Antonette Pixem’s father’s tavern, then I would have definitely staggered and fallen on him. Anyway, Bebdes are known to cover their tracks.

Hi Bebdo::well narrated and good insight.I am a little busy with a project and will comment further, soon.
Seems like Churchill got his "FAT ARSE" kicked and his "SMALL BRAIN" stuffed.

  2. As I said to your last article, I will never doubt the intelligence of drunks again. It is sometimes the corrupt politicians that loot the poor, who in turn have turned to becoming drunks. Me and my wife had seen Da Vanci Code at a premier in London and also have the book. How will an uneducated person understand what it 's all about? And yet they watched the movie on the quiet. Seeing and reading Da Vanci Code has not made me lesser Christian. Goans today are well educated and have an intelligent mind to make that decision.
Seeing the current state of affairs in Goa I doubt any Goan Politician will receive a standing ovation. About the speech of helping Goans it is more like robbing 99.99% and helping .01% that too the chamchas. I do believe more non Goans are helped into creating NAGARS with their filth all over Goa. My diagnoses is he needs a hip replacement. Thanks to all the Niz Goenkars that made the day to be remembered.

  3. Bravo bebdo, though your name sounds bit awkward but your brains are powerful even in drunken mode. You people should have driven him out of the hall. The scum and what about the fellows Anthony and Bernardo who brought him here?

  4. Woh! Woh! The story of the tiatr depicts Mickey Mouse where he went to US and dumped the black women for money and everything else. Then in Goa, he dumped so many women. So why does Peter Roshan has to potray a Pillai? We have our own villians in Goa in the form of Politicians.

Bebdo, thanks for bringing this article, this will the talk of of the pub tonight in my area in area where there is a big Goan population and the net is on for everyone to read and write comments.

I do not know if this Bebdo is a Sherlock at home or Sherlock Holmes, however, good investigation. I am glad that in Dubai or in UAE, there is a big following for Niz Goenkars.

Bebdo, because of you I have now become addicted to the song by Lorna (my granny introduced me to this great Konkani singer)
Lol,I can't help it. Every time you write something, you make me laugh. Dear, you are a good writer and very intelligent too. Wish I had to meet you during my college days. Boy, you really have a good sense of humour too.
I too was there for the drama along with my family. We received the call from Niz Goenkars at around 5 pm saying that the Konkani drama was at Al Nasr Leisureland and all Niz Goenkars should attend it to counter some Goan minister. We cancelled all our weekend plans and reached the place at around 8 pm. We bought 5 tickets costing Dh60 each.
Frankly, I don't know who you are. I too am a member of our underground movement of Niz Goenkar along with our entire family, including my parents. We too have taken a vow and have sworn on oath to be always loyal to Niz Goenkars come what may.
Bebdo,as I said before... you rock man!

The duck was lame limped on on dry land but when she was in water it was fine and so she stayed in the water until her webbed bad foot propelled her
to land where she walked without a limp like most ducks do but after the victory.

Churchill will limp before the elections but after, see him. He may be just gaining sympathy.

  7. Bebdo, you are great..if Goa had a handful of people like you then the political scenario would have changed drastically.
This type of incident should have taken place in Goa.

I am not so sure if this Goan Tiatr in Dubai represents anything very important or significant to warrant inviting a Goan MLA as a Chief Guest. This Tiatr was no Grand Opening or major event like the Commonwealth Games.
The fact that Churchill attend such a low esteemed event, displays that he has done it for no other purpose than self-aggrandisment(self -promotion).
I have not forgotten his visit was also to keep an eye on his money laundering activities.
If he believes that local Goans ( in Goa), will believe that he is a World renowned person...he is sadly mistaken.
In Goa, Churchill and his clan are viewed as extremely corrupt.Corrupt to the bone.
It is indeed sad that the organisers of the Tiatr see him as a "Holy then the Holiest".
However I am quite sure and more than positive, that the organisers who invited him did so ,as, he has possibly done them some favour in Goa or are in the pipeline for having favours done for them.
I do not know these guys who invited him. But I am sure in due course we will get to know about them and their fractured mentality and motives.
In a previous visit to Dubai, and while he was having a tit for tat with Arwin Mesquita, he stated that he is not a Politician by birthright...but was called & then elected by the people to represent them.
I do not believe this statement of Churchill.
The reason he entered Politics was to mint money. He along with his family were already corrupt with smuggling activities. When this was (smuggling) was becoming difficult and dangerous and following the shooting of his brother,he decided on another scheme and rampage.Anyone that is into smuggling is obviously not educated for any trade or profession and so have to resort to illegal methods of making a living or money. They are usually people with a very low I/Q.They also possess 2 other behaviourial assets...a loud mouth and a propensity for violence.Churchill & his clan certainly possess these traits. They have total disregard for Society.
These organisers do not see the young Churchill. They see a slightly mellow older Churchill. However whether young or Old this buffon will be remembered in Goan history as the most corrupt person from Varca. It is like inviting the "DEVIL" to a sumptuous dinner.
Apart from Dubai(perhaps), Churchill is not respected by Goans in other parts of the world.
He and his family are viewed as extremely corrupt. If he was to attend any function in the UK, there would be no attendance.Better still ..he is unlikely to be invited.
So I hope Dubaikars will in future not give this creature any further respect.
He pleases a few only to destroy the many.
It is time these Dubai guys who invited him ask themselves....What has Churchill left for their kids? They should ask themselves, why they are in Dubai? They should ask what Churchill has done for them and their future generations while they were in Goa?They should ask what will they do when thier contracts are over in Dubai and have to return back to Goa.?Will the hard earned money they earned in Dubai still have the same monetary value in 5 years or 10 years time?Perhaps they can ask this of Churchill and await his empty answers and promises.
It was good to know that the Niz-Goenkars in Dubai made Churchill`s presence un-welcome.
I respect those that took the trouble to boo at this self -centered Churchill.
And to the organisers of the Tiatr...Bernard & Anthony ,all I can say is "shame on you guys".You have chosen to side with one of the greatest "DEVILS", that has lived in Varca-Goa.You guys are now the laughing stock of true Goans around the world.Shame, Shame & more Shame on you Guys (Bernard & Anthony).
And if you guys (Dubai Tiatr Organisers) want to respond to me, I await you with pleasure. And do not forget to also ask your beloved Churchill to comment if, he still has 2 testicles left.

  11. @Bebdo: Well done and Kudos to you for bringing the light in our eyes! Superbly done and great news that Churchill received boos. I cannot understand why the organizers are binging the politicians as chief guest who are corrupt and not god fearing? What the organizer received by bringing the arse over there? I could not understand why they lick the politicians arse, is it tasty or yummy? How their wives allow them to lick their arse? Is the money what they are earning is not enough? Are their children’s and wives are licking their arse or they are taught by them? How these things can happen in this world was the law breakers are well respected? We are taught in the primary section of well being and community living is this community living? Are they not taught of these awareness or are they not educated? Why their family member is not against their fathers or husband for these mistakes? One should teach someone to do better and improve when a mistake is created. Why their mouth is sealed? This is what they are going to teach their kids? The bible teaches us to stand up against bad! When the Dubai guys will improve and avoid licking politicians arse? Wake up Dubai your Goa requires you! Give the bad out and bring the good in! Destroy corruption and corrupt people do not give them priority and make them your guest. No one is above the god! We have Remo, Nathasha Palha, Mahes Gawli, Ivana Furtado, Climax Lawerence, Derrick Pereira, Konkani fighters etc. so why not bring them as guest? Why the politicians only…. Cause you guys are getting something in your pockets or doing some favors to you ! Wake up…..

  12. Dear Bebdo, I am amazed to see your viability in running from one place to another in quick successions. One day you are in the Pixem Antonette father’s bar, one day in Scotland, then Dubai and now Brussels etc. etc. and in spite of these hectic schedules, you have the time and aptitude to be on Niz Goenkar blog commenting on each and every case. I wonder from where you get all your intelligent findings almost at the tip of your fingers, your source is excellent and you have a good rapturous charactertics ecstasy. Well done keep up the good work and hope we will meet one day at Antonette father’s outlet to have a glass of whisky and dine (It will be on the house by me). By the way did you see TWP at this outlet or may be gone to some other joint enjoying his last few days?

  16. All I can say, dirty low class people invite another dirty low class person like themselves to glorify. And this idiot Xavier Gomes, glorifying Chorchill as a saint....’open your mind idiot, please get some education before going on stage’. Unfortunately we have brainless uneducated people that want to jump on a platform. I bet this Xavier Gomes is the biggest sinner and hypocrite and wants to portray himself as God's crusader. Why didn't you all help Jackson...that is God's work! This Xavier Gomes should be kicked out, idiot. I didn't care to watch the Da Vinci Code....but please lets not act like Talibans. We have far more important work to do. Don't forget too, the church is selling OUR Goa, land donated by Goans, to non-Catholics (since these people are so concerned about catholism)! What do these 'taliban' Xavier Gomes and his Chorchill have to say about that???? It seems the people that put this show together are of very low intelligence....all rubbish. Where are good performers that produce substance and meaningful plays instead of unintelligent rubbish???......Thanks Bebdo for the update...we need to understand our people in order to bring change and Save our Goa and ourselves, as a people!

  18. Dear Readers, how ridiculed Chorchill must have felt sitting in the auditorium from 10.30 p.m. to 02.20 a.m. Ponder the pains he must have undergone for the humiliating and boos he got for the Niz Goenkars. Only respite was that the triatrist were praising him may be to get some favours from him or out of shear fear. He must have been frustrated at what the Niz Goenkars were doing. If it was in Goa, he himself would have stood up and given a straight forward threats or his gundas would have stood and observe that there was no hoodings but only praises. Since it was in Dubai, he did not have the guts to stand up and face the reality for himself. Kudos to Niz Goeankar of Dubai for standing for our true cause against all odds. The unculturally-ignorant duo who believe Chorchill is their saviour ; of course, they couldn't muster from the truth.

  19. I know there are some guys who are indirectly connected to the SMGC. These guys talk about Goan unity whereas the reality is far from the truth. These guys are only trying to protect their interersts and avoid exposure. Why aren't these guys coming forward and speaking boldly. I have also noticed in the article DUBAI THE KICK BALL there is one guy acting on behalf of the SMGC as the good samaritan. It is highly inquisitive to know what INTEREST DOES THIS GUY have in SMGC. SMGC has all grown and matured persons to the high post who do not need a mouth piece. I am strangely surprised why this third guy involve in uniting SMGC to other Goans. Why did he not do all this before the SMGC incident? Where was his Goan identity sleeping that time. I am doing studies on this guy and next time I shall come with something with this persons name though the name is mentinoed in the said article. Looks like he is involved somewhere in the money racket.

  20. @ Roberto de Goa... a cat will only attack when it is conered, otherwise it is just a pussy cat who will only meow, drink its milk and go to sleep.
I think by now you must have used the Alpha-Omega code to decipher the message about my visit to Brussels to hire the Ningjas there as the Dubai Ningja is in the driver's seat of a battered GM. Unfortunately, the Dubai Ningja doesn't know that there won't be any mechanics to repair his GM once it stalls on the way to the Internet City. GMs are now taken off the road... no business, low profits and no takers for a run down and outdated car.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Bebdo... But this Judas who is driving the outdated GM thinks he is the GM (General Manager) of everybody. He is outdated too and no spares available either. Once his GM stalls, he will need a bullock-cart. Are bullock-carts allowed in Dubai??? It will be a real novelty. We can name the bullock-carts as GM's Made in India. This Judas also has a die-hard right-hand man called Dias. So watch out!

  22. To all the SMGC members who are true Niz Goenkars, but exploited by some for their own benefit and publicity and taking advantage of the Niz Goenkars' innocence, My Apologies. If I have said anyting out of the way, it was only because of misinformation that I got. I am determined to fight for Niz Goenkar as a Niz Goenkar. But sometimes untoward incidents do take place and innocent people come into the line of fire. All Niz Goenkars in the SMGC, beware there is a Judas amongst you and this a fact. He is not Coelho, mind you. There is someone more sinister than Coelho and he stop at selling only Jesus but all of you. MArk my words. He is a very sweet talker too and if he cannot get his ways, he threatens people. Only threats. I am still waiting to see some action. He is also depending on support from his guys with crab mentality. With my limited knowledge, I don't even know what crab mentality, but the expression sounds nice. I am sure someone will come out with the explanation tomorrow.

Hi Dlp:::Here is a description of "Crab Mentality">>>:Crab Mentality

Crab Mentality describes a way of thinking best described by the phrase...."if i can't have it, neither can you". It's a metaphor referring to a pot of crabs in which one of them tries to escape and instead is pulled down by the rest of them.

I'm not sure what it means....but i'm guessing that it has to do with the fact that if you're in a situation.... don't try to squeeze your way out of it.... 'cause everyone else will just pull you back into the problem but even deeper than before!

Edit: In regards to the 2nd paragraph above, it's a totally different definition from what he/she thinks it means.

Crab mentality basically means how people bring you down just to get themselves to the top. This entails bad rumors and gossip against you that will cause others to think you are opposite of who you really are. Once a "crab" pulls you in, it will be hard to get back up.
