PETITION FILED IN HC TO TRANSFER MAFIA-POLICE-DRUG NEXUS CASE TO CBI

PANJIM: A petition has been filed before the high court of Bombay at Goa seeking the transfer of four drug mafia-police nexus cases to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) as the crime branch has "miserably" failed to probe them.
It is also well known that the cases have been deliberately sabotaged by Chandrakant Salgaoncar under the direction of the home minister Ravi Naik whose son is involved in the case and also that Chandrakant Salgaoncar is the main culprit in this case though well hidden said one citizen Kamlakant Desai of Panjim
The petition has been filed by National Students' Union of India (NSUI) president Sunil Kawathankar in public interest. NSUI had written to chief minister Digambar Kamat on Tuesday giving him an ultimatum of 48 hours to hand over the cases to the CBI.
The petitioner has stated that the Goa crime branch has "failed miserably" in investigating the cases. This has led to some of the prime accused in the cases being released, raising doubts over the integrity and capability of the crime branch, the petition said.
Kawathankar has sought a direction from the court that the Goa crime branch should be directed to hand over the investigation into four such cases to the CBI. He has referred to the investigation of cases against alleged Israeli drug dealers Atala and Dudu, PSI Sunil Gudlar and former ANC PI Ashish Shirodkar.

  2. NSUI have done the right thing by filing this petition, we must support them. Or else nothing will come out of all these scandals perpetrated by the men in uniform, aided and abbeted by the 40 chors themselves who are ortten to the core. Justice have to be given to the family of the deceased. Besides, there are many other cases of police brutality suppressed in goa. When the PI can be so blatant to say that he can plant drugs or that he pays his higher ups, and then feoign innocence. Trust me, these sort of guys are parasites, feeding off society with their evil means. Nex thing, they will start camnibalising their victims. Someone has done justice by puting the police actrocities on you tubee. It takes police to catch another police, that too in karnataka, who again shouts innocent. And then we have ravi naik who sees no evil, cant speak evil, doesnt do evil....enough said, disgusting!
