NDPS COURT ISSUES NOTICE TO GOA POLICE IN PSI GUDLAR DRUG NEXUS

PANJIM: The NDPS court at Mapusa on Monday issued notices to police officials on an application seeking direction for registering an FIR against PSI Sunil Gudlur and other suspected beneficiaries in an alleged sale of drugs and corruption case.
The court directed the police officials in the crime branch, anti-narcotics cell and anti-corruption branch of the vigilance department to file their replies on January 24 in the matter.  The court passed the order on an application filed by Kashinath Shetye and others seeking investigations into the case.
The applicants pointed out to the court that they had filed a complaint on January 7 against Gudlar after the media reported that he was caught on camera selling drugs to two foreign nationals.  The applicants also said that a case of corruption was revealed as the video footage showed Gudlar stating that he paid bribes to his superiors in the police department.
The applicants said that it was the duty of the police to examine the culpability of the accused in the case. The failure of the police to register an FIR smells of political interference, the applicants said. (TNN)

  1. The outcome will be zero. Everybody knows that this topic too will die soon. When we have police and Goa ministers as drug peddlars we do not other drug peddlars here. The leader of the Drug peddling Police chandrakant Salgaokar knows how to save his helpers.

    I agree with Oscar.
We can all now imagine all the corrupt Finiancial dealings and bribery going on to save Gudlar.
Perhaps some of his revelations may bring down other Police officers. So the whole Police machinery will go all out, to protect their interests.
The CBI must take over this case.It is in Goa`s national importance.
Gudlars assest must also be incestigated.
Veenu BAnsal too, is an absolutely crooked Police.Just look at his eyes and demeanor.
There seems to be 1 case or news item per day on the corrupt Goa Police.
    Bhim Bassi is no angel.
