PANJIM: A citizen Jowett D'Souza has written a letter to the Agacaim police station asking them to register a case of custodial death in the case of Cipriano Fernandes. He has also asked them to book the Panjim police inspector and two other police personnel in the case.
The First Information Report has not yet been registered by the Agacaim police as the case is with the sub-divisional magistrate (SDM).
D'Souza has asked the Agacaim police station to register a case of custodial death and book Panjim police inspector Sandesh Chodankar, police sub-inspector Vijay Chodankar and constable Sandeep Shirvaikar for the death of Fernandes, sources said. As Fernandes had died at the Goa Medical College (GMC) at Bambolim which falls within the jurisdiction of the Agacaim police station, D'Souza approached that police station to register the case, said sources.
Police sources, however, said that the complaint has not yet been registered by the Agacaim police as the case has been handed over to the SDM for investigation. (TNN)

The case of Cipriano is one case too many of Goa Police Brutality.
The Goa Police behave like savages.
Even wild animals have more decency and compassion, in comparison to Goa Police.
Human beings are not "sacrificial Lambs", to be used by Goa Police to demonstrate their DADAGIRI.
Cases like these are happening dauly in Goa.
The Police when confronted,just give out a lame excuse.
Cipriano did not suffer from fits or epilepsy.
To work on a ship he would have to undergo stringent medical checks.
Working as a Chef, in a very hot kitchen which feels like a furnace demands good health.
This in nothing but cold blooded murder.
All the Police personnell, that have been involved should be sacked.Immediately
Is the Police jobs worth more than the life of a healthy human being(Cipriano)?I say not.
These Policemen have not given any dignity to human life.
Perhaps they were not born out of Human Mothers.
The Home Minister Ravi Naik should consider his position.
Ravi is the most useless and irresponsible Home Minister Goa has today.He is most definetely not a 21st Century Politician.
I am not sure why Digamber Kamat needs him is the Cabinet.KAmat too has a suspicious character.
Look at the face of Ravi Naik.He should be consigned to a metal cage at Bondla Zoo.

When it is benefecial, INHUMAN RIGHTS Groups will emerge with some unwanted NGO's to make noise and fill pockets.

WE are today at a Crucial point in our lives and the Church needs to create the awareness among its people.A church should not just be a religious institution to preach the word of God but rather an institution to help in creating a fair society for us to live in. I would at this time invoke our church and our priestly leaders to PLEASE come out in the open and to create awareness among its people on the plight of our society we live in.
