GOVT STEERS CLEAR OF KHALAP’S INTERNATIONAL ARBITRATION CENTRE

PANJIM: In a major embarrassment to the Chairman of the Goa Law Commission Mr. Ramakant Khalap, the Goa Government has virtually washed its hands off the International Arbitration Centre at Goa that has been mooted by a private trust headed by Mr. Khalap
Under the Right to Information Act, the Law Department has informed Adv. Aires Rodrigues that it has no information on the setting up of the International Arbitration Centre at Goa.
It may be recalled that the International Arbitration Centre which was being set up by a private trust, “Goa Organization of Law Finance and Education” was scheduled to be inaugurated on 4th January by Union Law Minister Dr. Veerappa Moily in the presence of Chief Minister Digambar Kamat and the Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court. Mr. Ferdino Rebello.
After Mr. Ramakant Khalap announced that the International Arbitration Centre was being set up by his private trust in collaboration with the Government of Goa, Adv. Aires Rodrigues sought information under RTI from the Law Department whether the Government was infact aware that the said International Arbitration Centre was being set up in collaboration with the Government of Goa.
The Law Department while informing Adv Aires Rodrigues that it had no information on the setting up of the International Arbitration centre has also informed Adv Rodrigues that no action has yet been initiated against the trust headed by Mr. Ramakant Khalap for illegally and unauthorizedly using the name of the Government as a collaborator in the setting up of the trust.
The International Arbitration Centre was being set up by a private trust set up by Goa Law Commission Chairman Ramakant Khalap along with commission members Adv. Cleofato Coutinho and Adv. Mario Pinto Almeida. The fourth member of the trust is one Mr. V.K.Agarwal from Delhi.
Meanwhile, Adv. Aires Rodrigues has today stated that he would file a police complaint of cheating against Mr. Ramakant Khalap and the three other trustees of the “Goa Organization of Law, Finance and Education” for unauthorizedly using the name of the Government as a collaborator of the International Arbitration Centre to mislead the public.

The Keralites (Marlboros); pronounce lawyers as "LIARS"
These three from the Law Commission who have proved themselves as LIARS, have made 'hay' while their corrupt politicians appointed them. All the recommendations by this slimy Commission need to be scraped forthwith as these three LIARS have shown that they have no integrity.
