FAILURE OF COPS TO REGISTER FIR OF NIGERIAN

PANJIM: Even though the emphasis is to register an FIR as soon as a complaint is lodged without getting into the 'reasonableness' or 'credibility' of the complaint, the police failed to register a complaint filed by Nigerian national Nwabuwanne Nwachukwu.
Interestingly, though crime branch, which had received the complaint from the Nigerian had started conducting an inquiry into the matter, it was abruptly stalled after an IPS officer objected to the inquiry, said sources.
In his complaint to the police, Nwachukwu, who is himself an accused in a case registered by the anti-narcotics cell cops, had alleged that on October 10, 2010, four ANC members barged into his house at Saligao and demanded a bribe failing which he would be implicated in a "false case by foisting drugs on me".
"On October 10, 2010 at about 3 pm, when I was at my residence, four police officials from the ANC police station barged into my residence and began talking to me in a threatening manner and demanded a sum of 20,000. They threatened to plant drugs if I did not pay up… They then took over my wallet and took the last 1,000, I had in it" the complaint letter dated November 2, 2010 read.
Nwachukwu was arrested by the Calangute police for overstaying in the country, which is still pending in the Mapusa court. He has alleged that on being released by the sub divisional magistrate of Mapusa, he was picked up by ANC cops on May 3, 2010 and arrested for possessing 20 grams of cocaine. He was later out on bail when the ANC policemen came to his room and demanded 20,000 bribe.
Despite several attempts to contact police spokesperson SP AV Deshpande, he was not reachable.

  1. Story after story of Criminals in Uniform. What a shame. Goans should think twice before voting for ineffecient, corrupt criminal politicians, again and again. This is what we get when the government is corrupt and living on criminals mercy. Robber Naik is living on Police Mercy to help his son and in turn Gua Pulis know that they are protected indeed.

There are hundreds of cases where Goa Police have "planted" drugs on innocent people in order to extract money.
Many foreigners have been caught in this trap.
Many have paid up, to avoid the long Goan bureaucracy and detention.
If this story receives world wide attention, one can be assured there will be thousands of such cases of extortion. And I mead thousands.
The beaches of North Goa, are the favourites of Goa cops to mint some easy cash. These cops hunt in packs. When they see an easy target they pounce.

These beach bums (Police) have the blessing of their Masters.
Veenu Bansal must be brought to Goa and charged too. This well shaven ,baby faced idiot, is nothing but a wolf in sheeps clothing. His eyes tell all.
But the King of the corrupt Goan cops is most definetely CHANDRAKANT SALGAONKAR.
My best intuitions also make me believe Bhim Sain Bassi is another Police crook. He is in Goa to loot the public.I have seen him on TV and his demeanour (natural Behaviour) shows he is hiding something and is living with a guilt complex.
Lets hope Gudlar will "spill all the beans", in due course.
Goa Police should be viewd as illegal "TAX COLLECTORS" of a Biblical nature.
It is a shame that some of the lower ranks and good cops are tainted with this Public opinion.

  3. As long as we have the Blessing of Gandhi, this criminal activities will continue, the placing of the Statue of Gandhi is one good example in Old Goa.

One can always rent a Cop for illegal activities.

I don't think tourist come to Goa for drugs, maybe the police is forcing them to consume what the ministry makes them to sell. One should not forget, if the policemen is not corrupt, he is removed, degraded or transferred, The present qualification for a policemen is, he has to have a shady character, have criminal charges to his records.

You see Politicians have to have money for every election to buy votes. The system is corrupt not the politicians, the politicians make use of the system.

Any one voted in power should have only one term, not multiple terms. These multiple terms make our politicians corrupt, (This is what happened to Nehru, he was voted in power all the time, when the time came to loose he invaded Goa to be still in power)

The present parties like congress, NCP, BJP and others can only give a ticket to an individual who has enough corrupt police in his pocket, has enough (Dongor) voters in his vote-bank, has enough money to finance the party.
Why should the Party give a ticket to any tom, dick and harry, if they do that the party will cease to exit, for e.g. UDGP the party created by Dr. Jack de Sequeira

  4. If one remembers the case where PI Rane (was off duty in Plain clothes)of Margao police station together with another civilian friend grabed (in a drunken Sexual motive) a "Goan Swedish" woman and her husband of their motor cycle, the top part of the woman's dress was torn. The couple took Rane's motor cycle registration number down and approached Margao police to report the matter. The Margao police refused to file a case. Only when they approached Babu Naik and the treat of riots by Margao residents, the Police with pressure from higher up record the case with Rane being suspended followed by a court case. This incident was over three decades ago, has anything changed for the better now?
I pray the Honest police personnel get together and eradicate the corrupt and dirty ones.It is time for a clean police image of Goa to be exposed.

UGDP was not created by Dr. Jack de Sequeira. Do not confuse UGDP with 'United Goans Party', which split and then disintegrated in late 60's.
UGDP is an new political Party run by opportunists, Radharao & Anacleto.

  6. When the Gua Pulis are headed by a corrupt minister whose sons are involved in selling drugs, what better can be expected of these scoundrels? Robbery Naik should start back his business as motorcycle pilot to know the sufferings of the people of Goa and understand the police brutality.

  9. Who was incharge of Calangute Police Station at that time? None other then so called good cop of some of NIZ GOENKAR "Nolasco Rasposo" my dear NG don't get fooled, there are no good cops in the Goa Police Department, all of them are criminals in Police Uniform even the singing cop who is pet/domesticated dog of Congress Government is most corrupt. For them Police Uniform mean to extract Gandhi Notes as we have recently seen in the Drugs Nexus sting operation.Planting Drugs to extract bribes have started from the day the NDPS Act came into force in Goa which give minimum sentence of 10 years jail for possesion of norcotics.I remember one Police constable who rose up to become a Police Inspector in a shortest period of time was harassing foreigners while he was constable at Colva Police station of planting drugs to extract huge monetory gains, the same cop soon after official duty would often visit coastal belt of colva to harass tourists & it does not end there even after a transfer to Traffic cell of Panaji as PI he would often seen visiting coastal areas to extract bribes from foreigners in plain clothes. The name of this constable who rose to become PI and now retired is Mohan Monkar a native of Sawantwadi,Maharastra presently a resident of Verna village Bambordem. But remember crimes never goes unpunished this cop son died by drowning at Colva beach while having party with his friends. "Mai/Pai korthat pap burgi ditat zap".

A True Goan - I known that bastard Mohan Monkar who use to visit my friend shack for free food and would also collect parcel while going for his family. He could not write a single sentence of English but would conduct police FIR/Panchanma in marathi and often could been wearing dirty sandals even while on duty. After inquiring from some source how he became PI in the shortest time it is alleged that he is SC(Karwi) which help him rose to the rank of PI.

    To Dalia::::
I thought you were doing research on "crawling" insects and pests.
I also thought you were running a hospital in Goa for "diseased" and corrupt Goan Police personnell.
In the UK where I am, we do use Pounds (£).
But I was told by someone that in Goa they use "UGANDAN SHILLINGS". Is that true.?
Apparently Rupees (also known kindly as Gandhi notes) are only a trading currency used by Goa Police.
Curious Goan, who works for the Goa Police Department must have sackfuls of these Ghandi Notes.
I have also noticed Curious Goan has the "HOTS " for you.Is Curious Goan a Lesbian? Just researching!
Now if you are in the UK please can you tells me which cardboard you live in?...and what make.
    My box is LG
    Ok YAAR, bye YAAR.
