PANJIM: Chief minister Digambar Kamat on Wednesday announced that two proposed shopping malls, one in Margao and another in Panjim, will facilitate self help groups and artisans in the state to market their products.
Kamat made this announcement while speaking after Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi inaugurated the five-day Margao Crafts Festival at Costa ground, Aquem, Margao. Sources informed that at Margao, the shopping mall for self help groups will be set up by the government at an estimated cost of 3-4 crore on 1,000 sq m land near the old market.
What products is he talking about? and is it for Goans?
