PANJIM: The superintendent of police, North Goa, Mr Arvind Gawas has claimed that there is no organised crime gangs engaged in criminal activities like supari killings, supplying of arms or drug trade in the state. However, he maintained that sometimes a few gangsters from neighbouring states come down to Goa, commit crimes and take to their heels.
Mr Gawas observed that most of the crimes reflect the uniqueness of modus operandi of notorious gangsters and criminals. The SP elucidated on organised crime and said that there is always a gang leader with several desperadoes working for him, who commit various crimes. They share booties among themselves.
He said that notorious criminal Michael Fernandes and his few henchmen were not part of organised crime.
Ruling out the existence of organised crime in the state, he said some locals had ganged up to commit crime. But the police initiated a crackdown and arrested them after gathering intelligence and observing their modus operandi. “We arrested many gangs after sustained efforts and meticulous planning,” he informed and added that most of these gangs were from outside the state.
He said that if the Goa police do not get proper clues in the cases then they contact their counterparts in states like Karnataka, Maharashtra, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh.
The Goa police have records of criminals in the state. We check them regularly and monitor movements of these criminals.
If they get involved in any crime we zeroed in on their known modus operandi and arrest them. But when the gangs come from outside the state it becomes very difficult for the police to investigate, Mr Gawas said.
Giving examples of how they got to the bottom of several cases, the SP said a four-member gang was arrested in Calangute when it robbed a Pune couple. The arrest led to the detection of 24 cases of robberies, chain snatchings and thefts, which were reported in Karnataka, Gujarat and Goa.
He said the Starling D’Souza kidnapping case was cracked within 24 hours and a seven-member gang was arrested. In this case the kidnappers had demanded Rs 5 crore as ransom for releasing the boy.
Mr Gawas should see the neurologist before making any immmature statements. The Goa police force likes the arses of the politicians and the politicians are involved in organised crime gangs like Churchill, Monseratte, Ravi Naik and DIGUBAB.
ReplyDeleteMr Gawas is not talking about Goan gangs. He is talking of gangs from outside Goa.
ReplyDeleteAs D Justin states,he should also check his eye-sight,education level & reading skills.
He should look at St Cruz & Taleigao. This is where the top gangs live.
If he does not believe me, he should ask who stormed the Police Station in Panjim.
Newspapers in Goa have suggested the gang was controlled by Babush Monseratte.
We have seen many a Ostrich come and go.
ReplyDeleteBy stating that police initiated a crackdown we have observed that your "crackdown" should actually mean "NEXUS"!
Gawas himself is part of organised gang of criminals in police uniforms, his other members are Jivbha Dalvi,Albuquete brothers,Chandrakant salgoancar,Ashish Hashish Shirodkar,Guddler bear,Gad,Santhosh Desai,Kadam,Gupta,Mohan Naik,Edwin Colaco,Raju Raut Dessai,Menezes,Sandesh,Sunita, and many constables who are involved from drugs selling,house-breaking,goondairi,dacoits as well churches and Temples robberies. They share their loot in one of south goa five star hotel and their main leader is Verna PI Jivhba Dalvi.
ReplyDeleteThis Gawas is Bagwas. Talks through his back hole.
ReplyDeleteVerna PI Dalvi (Police Dalal) is the police dog with rabbies. He is the collector for most of the police criminal officers in uniform. This son of a pig was responsible to letIGP's son escape the accident scene with IGP's car. Dalvi is a slaughter house keeper of Aleixo who does his dirty work in Verna. He is also the hafta collector of Dy.Sp Bossuet, Waman Tari and Mohan Naik. Something called SHAME is lacking in Dalvi. His correct name should have been DALAL or a PIMP. This same officer who was suspended for many crimes is now reinstated and promoted after the accident of IGP's car driven by his minor son along with the minor son of Aleixo Squirrel.
ReplyDeleteWhen justice is Goa is in the hands of the criminals in uniform, what better can you expect?
