VALPOI: BJP candidate, Mr Santosh Aldoncar submitted his nomination form to the returning officer, Mr Raju Gawas in presence of Leader of Opposition, Mr Manohar Parrikar, president of state BJP party, Mr Laxmikant Parsekar and others.
The Bharatiya Janata Party candidate, Mr Santosh Aldoncar on Tuesday filed his nomination for the Valpoi by-election.
He was accompanied by the Leader of the Opposition, Mr Manohar Parrikar, state BJP president, Mr Laxmikant Parsekar, Mr Vinay Tendulker, state BJP spokesperson, Mr Govind Parvathker, former deputy speaker, Mr Narahari Haldankar and Mr Narayan Gawas.
Mr Haldankar submitted his nomination form to the returning officer, Mr Raju Gawas assisted by mamlatdar of Satari taluka, Mr Satish Desai and Joint Mamlatdar, Ms Trupti Rane at Mamlatdar office at around 11.45 a.m.
Mr Manohar Parrikar alleged that the Congress party is misguiding the people of Satari over the last two decades. Speaking to press, Mr Santosh Aldoncar said that the party has taken Mr Vishwajit Rane’s recent statement of wiping out the BJP from Valpoi constituency as a challenge
