SANATHAN SANSTHA GRANTED TIME BY HIGH COURT

The single judge bench of the High Court of Bombay at Goa constituting of Mr Justice N A Britto granted time to Sanatan Sanstha to seek legal assistance.
The petition was filed by Chitralekha through its proprietor and certain other staff of the publication for quashing a complaint filed by the Sanstha before the Judicial Magistrate First Class, Panaji. The complaint accuses the petitioners of committing the offence of defamation by way of publication of certain articles.
The petitioners have stated that the alleged defamatory articles in no manner imputed anything against the Sanatan Sanstha, Goa and hence the complaint filed before the Judicial Magistrate is without locus standi.
Earlier, the court finding substantial ground in the petition stayed the criminal proceedings pending before the Judicial Magistrate First Class at Panaji. The matter will now come up for hearing on September 27

  1. Why is Manohar Parrikar silent on this Sanathan Sanstha is well understood. He is supporting this organisation which means he and sudin dhavlikar are good friends. Parrikar is a communalist and we do not need such parties in power.
