“Why is the saviour of Goa Dr. Jack Sequeira not honoured by Kamat and his gang of ministers? Kamat should be thankful to Dr. Jack that he is the CM of Goa today and not the traitor Bandodkar “ said John a Panjim resident when asked by a reporter.

He called upon the gathering to be inspired with the vision of late Bandodkar in uplifting the downtrodden. “It is not enough to garland portraits or statues of great leaders as mere garlanding does not help but a real tribute to these leaders will be only when we follow their ideals and carry their work ahead in the interest of the society and the state “ he felt.

Vinayak an 85 year old Porvorim resident and a strong supporter of Opinion Poll said “It is disgusting to see a man trying to sell of Goa to Maharashtra and destroy Goans is being honoured more than the person who saved it with his friends”
Several social organizations in the state had organised functions at various placed to pay homage to the first Chief Minister of Goa, late Dayanand Bandodkar.
When one blind leads the other blinds follows, the toad of margao DI GANDU KAMAT and the rest of the idiots should be ashamed to pay homage to the TRAITOR BANDODKAR who wanted to merge GOA with maharasthra. The uneducated kamat and his cronies should keep in mind that if chor Bandodkar had suceed in his evil plan , Goa would have been a mere district of Maharasthra and they would have not opportunity to pay homage to the evil man .The right thinking Goans should bring down all the statues of the traitor and replace by the statute of FATHER OF GOA, DR JACK SEQUEIRA.
ReplyDeleteThanks to DR Jack De Sequeira We Goans are Goans and NortMarathi's as Bandorkar wanted it. The traitor Bandorkar wanted to merge Goa with Maharashtra thus eliminating Goan identity. I have no regrets spilling my true Goan blood during the Opinion Poll to save the merger. The current politicians should thank DR Sequera they are in power to siphon and destroy Goa's wealth.
ReplyDeleteOne can see that all the Maharashtrawadi stalwarts were present at Miramar, near the old Secretariat and Calangute to pay homage to late D. B. Bandodkar on his birth centenary and to pay floral tributes. Though most of them want to be known as "former" stalwarts, just because they left the MGP, MAKE NO MISTAKE - they all continue to be staunch Maharashtrawadis to the core. It is only political constraint that keeps them out of the party.
ReplyDeleteThey all speak highly of Bandodkar's dream for Goa. All Goans know fully well that the dream was to merge Goa into Maharashtra, that would turn Goa into half a taluka of that state and destroy Goa's identity in toto. It is this identity that earned Goa its Statehood.
One speaker recalled "the contribution of Bandodkar in the upliftment of the state and its downtrodden people". These "downtrodden" - people who were badly and unfairly treated - continue to be so, 40 years after Bandodkar. Why? He also said that Bandodkar "had a far-sighted vision of the state". This "vision" must have come to him after the Opinion Poll shattered his dream of merger.
But why are our "stalwarts" fighting shy from praising the man who got us to win the Opinion Poll? It was this victory that preserved our identity, gave us Statehood and enabled our politicians to become ministers, MLAs and MPs. I refer to Dr. Jack de Sequeira, the man forgotten by the ungrateful political class, but still very much remembered, with gratitude, and respected by true Goans who love their motherland. Why are these "stalwarts" heaping praises on the one who wanted to destroy Goa?
Dr. Jack De Sequeira was the man of great caliber and full of respect unlike real born bas..rd D.Bandodkar. Has Govt. ever celebrated centenary year of this great Father of Goa?. As said by Vinayak it is indeed disgusting to see how these pro-Marathiwalas praise the traitor along with crumb eaters who took part in these owfull celebration. If they have so much love for Marathi I challenge them to go to Maharashtra and win the election and show. Will they? never. At last these 40 rascals should be greatful to Dr. Jack Sequeira for having State of Goa which they are on the spree of loot and destruction.
ReplyDeleteAll will have curse upon them and thier families.
Some years on now goans will revile at the thought of the most corrupt, greedy, wicked, unworthy, inefficient (except when it comes to looting goa) bas***rds of chief minister, home minister & pwd minister goa ever had. Its a case of the modern day traitors glorifying the dead one.
ReplyDeleteSuch wicked ones will find no peace even in their graves.
