MARGAO POLICE RAID THE AVIATION INSTITUTE

MARGAO: The Margao police on Thursday raided the premises of Achievers Aviation Academy and seized the attendance sheets and other documents from the office. Sources informed that the police are in the process of verifying the documents to check if they are in order.
It may be recalled that the Margao town police on Wednesday had booked an offence against the promoter of the city-based institute, one Parul Kakkar, on charges of cheating students to the tune of several lakhs of rupees. On Tuesday, several students had marched to the station. (TNN)

    I read this story yesterday.
It is indeed very sad to see young aspiring Goans STUDENTS wanting to acheive greater things and become self sufficient ...being TAKEN FOR A RIDE (on the ground!!) and duped by this Institute.
If found guilty...these promoters should be severely punished.
    However I doubt that.
A few lakh`s in Rupees to Goa Police and a share to an MLA and this case if it ever comes to court will get the standard judgement of an "ACCQUITAL".

  2. This is a high profile case and sooner, several underground hands will exchange compliments and the thinking will be on a common ground. The criminals will go scot free as the protectors of law will turn out to be the main saboteurs of proper investigation.
